Now don't take it from me - a random youtube commenter - take it from Australian cricketer and Australia's T20I captain Josh Inglis who played for Joondalup himself. You introduced him in the TGC throwdown with him last summer on 7+ and he corrected you on the pronunciation. Yes I know that since I remember this, the AFP are already at my door and to be honest I'm not even from Joondalup or anywhere near it. But I have to keep up the one-sided war between Western Australia and the 'Eastern States'. So not only do I have to correct you for DARING to mispronounce a random town name that you would have never heard of as it is on the opposite side of the country. But I also have to ignore the fact that you acknowledged the likelihood that you mispronounced it through a humourous quip as you are from the wrong side of the Nullarbor.
In my last season of playing I realised that cricket is a zero-sum game and decided to make the opposition bowlers be upset and frustrated at their inability to get out a no.8-9 batsmen, I watch this to feel that same way when seeing others upset at my gain (my gain now being having escaped the addiction that all these lot haven't)
Ok I need to ask. Have you wasted your Saturday or are we to waste our Saturday watching this or it’s not about Saturdays at all and it’s about wasting time in general?
