This may seem extremely weird, but I love this song for a completely different reason than most people. I lived in Seattle and was packing up the house cause my family was moving to Phoenix. Naturally, I wanted to see what Arizona looked like so I’d know what to expect. When I came on RUclips I searched “arizona” and oceans away popped up a few videos down from the top. I scrolled past it because I wanted to see people recording the scenery and the places to go and things to do. I eventually watched all I could of those and came back towards the top when I finally looked at the thumbnail and thought, you know, I’m moving to Arizona, so I should try to like a band with the exact same name. Surely enough, I fell in love with this song and right off the bat, a r I z o n a became my favorite group. I often listen to this song and reminisce on the excitement I felt getting a fresh start in life, all the potential I could make of this new chapter in my life, and thinking back to the happiness and the optimism just always makes me cry. I love Arizona. Both the group and the state. I’ve never felt more at home in my life :’)
