i love the fall set, not only do they look good, no roads for the attack (wheat field) parts and no need for upgrades or reno kits, imagine how much motivation u save each day with moslty these field sin your town, alot! imagine how much effeciency u would get, any holes u just add sentinel towers so there is no wasted space at all! u also save as i said alot of reno kits as these fields need no aging up ever unlike most event buildings, that is also very valuable, this is by far the best set in the game, not just for efficency but its very versatile u can build for atk or for FPs with extremly high efficincy and with no need for aid or reno kits ever or level upgrades (unlike winners plazas, sentinels etc.).
Re daily specials, the Golden Crops (if you can get all 9 levels) is actually pretty good for new players / new cities, especially if you are advancing normally through the technology tree and not just camping for a long time in one era. The One-up kit fragments are surprisingly useful for updating old event buildings when you advance eras, especially after a year or two when you start having more event buildings than Renovation kits. A single building is a lot simpler to manage and update in your city than a set like the Harvest farm. Of course, the Golden Crops is not something that you would be keen on placing in your city if you are already in the Space Ages though...
Hey Moo, here my results for your analysis :) World: Bronze requirement / own contribution / Silver requirement DE1: Bronze 191+ / 193 / Silver 203+ DE2: Bronze 190+ / 194 / Silver 203+ DE3: Bronze 191+ / 196 / Silver 204+ DE4: Bronze 191+ / 193 / Silver 203+ DE18: Bronze 191+ / 200 / Silver 204+ DE20: Bronze 191+ / 194 / Silver 204+ Daily specials was around 15 on each world, but much more luck dependent. I got the max level on all worlds, but it was rather close. Did the daily for extra ingredients every day on all worlds, and collected incidents whenever possible. Without these it wouldn't have been enough to max it out. Overall, it's getting much tougher to complete the event buildings. Guess Inno wants to force more and constant activity.
Do you have all the league requirements for DE18? I am compiling a spreadsheet with all the requirements on different worlds. If you have any of these as well that would be much appreciated as well: DE7, DE9, DE10, DE13, DE15, DE21 (the rest I have)
@@MooingCatFoE sure here you go: - / 147+ / 191+ / 204+ / 273+ The gap between silver and gold is huge. Clearly a sign of high diamond spending for the top rewards. I only play on the mentioned 6 worlds, taking enough time already 😂
One Thing regarding the MiniGame: There is No carry over of Stars, because at the end of each table you only get receipes that bring you exactly to the grand price. If one Star ist missing you only get one ingredient receipes
Great video, thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience! My only goal in this event will be to get a Fall set, 5 pieces minimum, rather 8 or 9 if I can. (edit:) I read in your written guide that one can hope for 10-15 daily specials so it seems doable since I'm playing daily and picking the daily challenge with ingredients every day!
Well, so far it's a catastrophe. The set of Fall appeared as a switched prize, I spent everything I got at this point (from finishing the main questline, newsletter and starting ingredients : 20-25 of each at least) and got only 4 sets. This is going to be difficult.
@@MooingCatFoE Yeah, but how lucky will I be to get the Fall Set as switched prize when I have collected enough ingredients again, that is the question... Well, we shall see ^^
@@MooingCatFoE If I followed your different takes right, there was a slight doubt about how Inno might still modify the ingredient distribution between the beta and the real event so there was still a hope for getting the fully upgraded Sunflower oil press without having to be in the top 20%. Since the event really began, have you noticed a change in this direction, or is everything just like in the beta?
great video as always. Really not a fan of the timebound bonuses that Inno are rolling out. On a side note - I show donkey sanctuaries at 140 and 300 stars
Be aware people, he is advertising Fall set as a great option for both FP and Atk, You should know these are different designs. You get one or the other. SoA does not give as good efficiency, but it will give both.
There are fall set layouts that give both more attack and forge points per tile compared to the SoA (will go over some in a video today), but yeah the fall set is primarily one or the other. SoA gives more per daily special, but that's most useful early on in a city, where the SoA lose a lot of its attacking power compared to the latest ages. In fact in early ages the SoA gives roughly the same attack per daily special. The SoA has population, which could be a good compensation in newer cities, but I still think the higher efficiency of the Fall set is better, especially when you don't have a lot of space. Not saying SoA is bad, but I definitely prefer the fall set :)
The more that want this GP and press to get into the top 20% will push it higher and harder to get into the top 20%. But since this is a junk GP it may be easier than one that had a high attk % boost
With my new chain and with really good luck , i can produce 160 fp or more for 1 single building each day with the Cobalt Blue Lagoon and the blue galaxy , it's can be good but the problem with this new system , he can't be good for everyone and not P2W , ( it's only purely P2W or Useless ) , because if this building are permanent , some people like me can produce 200 fp each day more than actually and it's huge for only 2x2 , but not everyone have this type of building and have a limited amount of 5 usage are just useless , 1200 diamond are too much for that , and of course , the other rewards from the top line are just useless ( some supplys , some troops , or maybe 1 check building or 1 place of winners if you finish the whole event , but you can drop much more than that with daily rewards )
As you mention they have updated the event pass rewards, so the checkmate square was swapped with a donkey enclosure. You can get the first one for free, the 2nd one will still require additional diamonds :)
How am i suppose to complete that star collection event with 8 pages, when there is quests for about 4 pages of stars??That incidents are just a drop in the sea.. Such a scam event, to eat your $!
i represent the people who build cities for FP collections. and we dont care about buildings with under 0.65 fp / quare UNLESS it has attack. not def for attacking army but attack. defense you can get from sentinels. so by that calculation EVERY event building who all have 0.5 fp a square with attack like the fallen log and heroes tavern. THE ONLY PEOPLE who want this building are people who are still aging up or havent developed into a late game city yet. but this event give fall set so good luck getting into top 20%. so the late game people who get this dont want it. the people who want it cant get it. the sad part about this is the guy who sat down and designed this building. its not a bad designed building like animal crossing. this is actually really well designed. the people who actually will use this out of the top 20% is more likely 10 people or less. its like buying an expensive painting then taking a dump on it in front of the artist.
This has got to be one of the most underwhelming events. Of course Inno will use events to maximize their diamond revenues, but at least offer something back to the player base worth getting. Who is going to spend 1200 diamonds on a building that only lasts 5 days ? I am going to sit this one out completely. I won't be losing out on anything. I am enjoying these events less and less. There's always good old GBG to fall back on. Oh wait...
There are great daily specials, but yeah all the new stuff is quite underwhelming / too costly to get for this event. That said, you also get other buildings like checkmate square and sentinel lv1 for those 1.2k diamonds, so it's not the worst deal, but not really something I'm interested in personally.

Wheat fiels are great for all the reasons you state. Definitely a target for me this event

I will only go for the Harvest Farm Kit and increasing my Attack Boost. The Grand Prize isnt so good as last year.
Yeah my focus will be on daily specials as well :)
What is the minimal amount of pieces of the Fall set i need for attack? I guess i can realistically get 2, maybe 3 pieces in this event.
Even 3 is decent :) Wheat, ochre and begonia

Apparently you can get two donkey enclosures now
