Any video that contains Dennis out travelling is a good video! Always great to watch these videos. You are thorough and provide great information and fun :) Great video as always!
Dennis, hello from Utah, USA! I have been a follower of your channel for several years now, since well before the crazy pandemic. I so missed your regular videos during those dark times and just felt so lucky when you could upload ANY kind of video..it just taught me that I needed to be thankful for what I had. Anyway, it is awesome to see you back to your great old ways of uploading videos on a regular basis. Thank you for all you do my friend and keep safe! PEACE!
You’re a good man Dennis. Love the deliberately humble, wide eyed approach you bring to the world and its people. I know it is intentional and it makes a difference!
So great to see people sitting and waiting to get off. I have heard flight attendants say over the PA many times (including a recent flight) to please stay seated and let passengers with tight connections get off the plane first but few listen and then get up and block the people who do need to make a connection.
Mate, love your videos and the fact that you're more than happy to experience and review low cost options like Ryan Air and Vueling, simply cause you're a down to earth bloke and reviewing different options for your subscribers and others, is what you do. And you do it well. Being a Spanish Aussie, well, I'm off to Spain next month :)
I've found vueling to be pretty decent for a budget carrier. I actually find getting off the plane by row numbers was actually quicker than normal as you don't have everyone trying to pile out at once.
Good to see you back Dennis! I've never understood the compulsion of some passengers try to board an aircraft as soon as possible and then try to get off as soon as possible at the end of the journey - especially in short haul. That 'clacking' of seat belt buckles as the plane edges into the gate is like a starter gun for the Olympic 100m final! It's like passengers trying to edge their way to be as close to the gate desk as possible, even though they could be in boarding group 99 😂 It does seem faster and more efficient to board the rear rows first and disembark the front rows first. However, you have alluded to my major annoyance: I sometimes treat myself to a seat at the front of the cabin, and it's annoying to board and see a load of empty seats, but only full lockers, so there's no room for my carry-on near my seat 😪
Thanks for your report, Dennis! Glad to see you enjoyed Vueling, I have flown them quite sometimes and I am not entirely satisfied with the way they treat customers when they have issues like delays, cancellations... etc. They are big in Spain, 124 planes. Next time in Barcelona let's see if we can meet! All the best, keep them coming!
I recently travelled with Vueling from Paris to Florence. Was just as surprised how disciplined nearly all passengers were de planeing 5 rows was most impressed. Great review as always. 👍
Lovely report Dennis. It reminded me of my flight with Vueling back at 2011 in an A320 from Athens to Barcelona when they were at their beginning.Nice and smooth flight with polite crew.Cheers mate
Seeing you in the Bilbao airport brings back my memories of flying there a month before the world shut down in 2020. Second the strong recommendation of the Basque country; I stayed 10 days in Vitoria-Gasteiz on business and am trying to plan a trip back with the family so they can experience it like I did.
Hey Dennis, I am loving your content. Still here in Australia but I am very much looking forward to travelling internationally again soon. Thank you for the inspiration.
I haven’t managed to fly in the last few years, and we always flew to Barcelona when I was a kid, so seeing inside of El Prat (albeit briefly) gave me a nice little bit of nostalgia - thanks, Dennis!
It is far too long since I have visited Barcelona. I may have to arrance a trip. I've actually only visited for pleasure twice, but around a dozen times for work (between 4 and 10 days each time). A wonderfully relaxed and happy place to be. On one trip I went with an Italian engineer who had never visited the city before, and told him that there was a local bylaw that only 'beautiful people' were allowed on the street after 9 pm. By 9:30 he had accepted it as fact . . .
I enjoyed my first Vueling flight from SCO to LGW in May; friendly crew although they did draw the curtain at the front of the cabin after service and locked the forward toilet so the entire cabin crew could chat uninterrupted! Also, like yourself, Dennis, in-flight wifi didn't function (nor did the USB power). Disembarkation at LGW was disciplined as in your video. Thanks for sharing! PS Their website can be a bit tricky - you have to scroll through departure options to find the cheapest. I signed up for their fare alert service and found the fare for my selected flight actually dropped 3 weeks out from departure.
Gora Euskadi! Aupa Athletic! Not sure if you mentioned it but the terminal was designed by Calatrava. Great video and thanks for sharing. Your videos are always so nice to watch, always positive and no drama.
Glad to see you in Spain Dennis! I would say Vueling is not comparable to Ryanair but I can’t, because I’ve never flown Ryanair 🤣 I’ve flown Vueling tens of times though and I’m overall quite satisfied with their no-thrills service. Also they used to have good deals pre-COVID.
Excellent video Dennis! By the way, the boarding process didn’t seem to be slow people but rather Paul Lucas’ favorite Boarding but not Boarding when they scan passes and let people onto the Jet bridge before the crew are ready to let people onto the plane.😸
In Japan they've been disembarking 10 rows at a time. Corona or not, I find this a far more efficient way to deplane an aircraft. G&T looked enjoyable. Cheers!
Enjoyed this video Dennis . It’s refreshing to see a flight with a LCC reviewed . I was impressed with the overall experience , and an airline I would consider when travelling in Europe . BTW , the contrast I’ve recently experienced with the security and plane boarding / disembarking at Bilbao and Barcelona compared to Sydney is like dark and light . I shouldn’t criticise but Sydney was a disgrace on my last flight a few weeks ago . I’m flying to ADL in a few weeks , and hope to see a improvement at Sydney by then . Cheers Dennis and here’s to many more great flights .👍
Thanks for a review of a low cost airline that we don't get down under. I read Ailrliner World from the UK. It has Airlines and prices that Aussies can only dream of. Cheers.
Great video as always dear Dennis! I've flown on Vueling four times between 2017 and 2021 now and it was always pretty enjoyable, even tho it seemed to have pretty bad legroom on my first flight with them on an A320ceo back then in 2017. However my last flight with them in Autumn 2021 from Leipzig (Germany) to Paris-Orly was a bit of a disaster, as we departed LEJ about 4,5 hours late because of a technical malfunction with one of the lavatories. I claimed my 250€ per person EU flightrights but they declined, however it says online that this type of delay is not a valid reason for the airline not to compensate passengers. But to be fair the crew was really nice and offered everyone on board free snacks and drinks which for sure isn't the norm with a LCC like Vueling.
We recently flew Vueling for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The upgrade to Space Plus also helped, having more leg room. Haven’t been game enough to book Ryan Air yet :-)
I have a bloody pet hate and that’s when the boarding is from the rear and passengers seated up the front put their cases in the REAR overhead lockers so those sitting at the back either have to put theirs, if it can fit, under the seat in front or else use the lockers further forward! Why some cabin crews allow this to happen I have no earthly idea. Good video!
Vueling is by far the best discount airline I've flown. Unlike Ryanair, Easyjet and the dreaded Jetstar, Vueling planes are always clean, the crew are polite and the passengers are civilised. It almost feels like a premium airline. I strongly recommend them.
What’s the issue with Jetstar ? . I’ve flown Ryanair , Easyjet and Jetstar , and Jetstar shines compared with the others . Perhaps I’ve just been lucky or realistic with my expectations.
@@davidcartwright5591 You may have a point. I flew Jetstar out of Melbourne's Terminal 4 which is reserved for discount airlines and it feels like it. On board Jetstar was almost nice by comparison.
Great video...have been reading a lot of horror stories about lots of lost luggage and flight delays/cancellations all across Europe. Plus a friend just came back from Spain and was positive for Covid.
I flew Vueling back in April and saw the same disembarkation process. It surprised me to say the least especially after having flown Ryanair in previous days where people jumped up as soon as they thought the aircraft had stopped moving.
Great video Dennis. Standing in the aerobridge reminds me of my visit to Madrid where boarding started before the plane was ready so they just got us to stand in the aero bridge for 45 minutes. 😆
Those people at the airport just don't realize how many people on RUclips like this "Nutter"!! 🤣 Dennis, from what I could see and hear regarding the staff at Vueling it is head and shoulders above Ryan Air. I'll remember that if I am ever traveling around Europe.
Keep being a absolute nutter that's why we subscribe Can't wait for more places to open up I have so much leave ready to book, hope my boss is ready for the leave app
flown with Vueling from Brussels to Valencia; hell; no air conditioning on the ground as long as the engines don't work... they let passengers on board with huge hand luggage, takes forever before everyone is on board. one sits in a plane like in a can of sardines, horrible, never again I'd rather go on foot
We have a big team and a lot of friends in Sri Lanka so I will definitely back - just hope things calm down quickly and the people of Sri Lanka get the government they need and deserve.
Vueling is the worst. Period. Don't overestimate an airline based on your limited "good" experience. Bad things don't happen every day. How an airline handle issues or crisis matters the most. Vueling is horrible. Don't believe what this guy said.
What ? Dennis at the Back of the bus really ? It can’t be ! Ah not back of the bus the middle ! Don’t come to canada anytime soon Dennis and as Sam Chui noted stay away from air canada They are the worst

Dennis your videos are always a joy to watch and it’s great we can all travel again happy travels 😘✈️✈️✈️
Hope you enjoy Barca, going there in September, cant wait!
Hi Dennis... quite a civilised way to empty a plane, with, or without covid !😅
Enjoy your time over there ☺️
Thanks, yes I thought so too.
Always fun to watch your videos, thanks Dennis.
Jamon iberico hanging at the airport wow! Love the livery. Seat looked rather squeezie. Great report Dennis. Gracias!

Great to see you brilliant as always - Kevin & Cyndy UK
Yeah, I went with Vueling from Dakar to Barcelona then to Dublin. Good experience.
It is far too long since I have visited Barcelona. I may have to arrance a trip.

Much better than I expected from Vueling.
Nice to see you back
Looks like a decent airline. Great video!

You have to go again and ho drink tea quiero that's very great
Nice review, as always 👍 😊
brilliant video!! love them dennis, keep it up :)
Love your work ... Well done
In Japan they've been disembarking 10 rows at a time. Corona or not, I find this a far more efficient way to deplane an aircraft. G&T looked enjoyable. Cheers!
Same here in Thailand, it's great. Stops everyone just getting up for absolutely no reason immediately
Looks a like a very reasonable experience, and makes me wish I was visiting Bilbao or Barcelona again.

Vueling were great when we flew them from Gatwick to barecelona.
Nice to see you Happy 👍

I like Vueling. The seats are tight, but you get what you pay for. Upgrade to the first row and enjoy. Friendly, efficient Spanish service.
Welcome to Spain! Next time you should come to Andalusia, in the South of the country
Haha. G’day Dennis, flew the exact route with Vueling in June 2013 to join the same tour!! Brought back some great memories! Happy flying.
That's so cool!
Great stuff Dennis!

Great video...have been reading a lot of horror stories about lots of lost luggage and flight delays/cancellations all across Europe. Plus a friend just came back from Spain and was positive for Covid.
Looks like the Vueling economy seats are equivalent to the BA European business class, love that IAG low cost feel
I flew Vueling back in April and saw the same disembarkation process. It surprised me to say the least especially after having flown Ryanair in previous days where people jumped up as soon as they thought the aircraft had stopped moving.
Sometimes they jump up even when the plane is still moving!!
When are you coming to Ireland, Dennis? ☺️
Grate video Dennis keep up the good work
Thanks 👍
Nice video!! Vueling is not bad for this short distance flights!
Great video Dennis. Standing in the aerobridge reminds me of my visit to Madrid where boarding started before the plane was ready so they just got us to stand in the aero bridge for 45 minutes. 😆
Ah yes the famous boarding not boarding - loved by airlines all over Europe
had it in the pines to with scoot
I ❤️ Dennis Bunnik
Those people at the airport just don't realize how many people on RUclips like this "Nutter"!! 🤣
Dennis, from what I could see and hear regarding the staff at Vueling it is head and shoulders above Ryan Air. I'll remember that if I am ever traveling around Europe.
I flew Vueling a few years ago. It was easy.
Use Vueling a lot. One of the best low-cost airlines in Europe in my view. Btw if you want to be really Spanish authentic it is pronounced "Bwelling".
Seems like a good flight.
Great video! Hope you’re enjoying your LCC experiences 😂
Keep being a absolute nutter that's why we subscribe
Can't wait for more places to open up I have so much leave ready to book, hope my boss is ready for the leave app
Thanks - yeah definitely time to lock in that leave and start exploring.
Dennis could you please include price of the flights?
This is an excellent video, but are you doing budget airlines because you are spending too much on business class trips?
Vamos in espana :) let’s go to Spain
How long should you arrive at the airport considering you have to get in line to check-in. Going from LIS to BCN.
Flying from London to Bilbao in July with a super economy ticket, how strict are they with carry on luggage?
Uuu Barcelona. You should arrange a meetup! Would happily join!
Sadly home already but will be back at some stage.
How much was the fare ?
Our's is definitely a love hate relationship :) .....keep up the good work
No masks in Europe? Meanwhile in Australia they are still super strict about it.
And there I was, thinking vueling was some modern video thing!
😂😂
Weirdly it’s pronounced “Bwehleen” apparently 🤷♂️
First. Cheers D
flown with Vueling from Brussels to Valencia; hell; no air conditioning on the ground as long as the engines don't work... they let passengers on board with huge hand luggage, takes forever before everyone is on board. one sits in a plane like in a can of sardines, horrible, never again I'd rather go on foot
your a Dutch Ausie so of course your nuts but I understand as I also am one
We're a special kind of nuts 😂

How much the Airline pay you for this feedback? Never again with this line!!!!!
With the current political turmoil in Sri Lanka, you won't be going there for time being i guess..
We have a big team and a lot of friends in Sri Lanka so I will definitely back - just hope things calm down quickly and the people of Sri Lanka get the government they need and deserve.
Funny how they disembarked with some sort of fake social distancing charade yet let everyone crowd the jetway getting on the plane. What a farce.
