Hey my Man. I am never aware of reaction videos to my episodes. Your video was just shown to me with the note, that I should watch it. Anyway, first of all thanks for your kind words. I am very happy when my show got you some joy. This is the reason why I am still doing this. Concerning Lebron... I try to stay away from negativity. If I talk about negative stuff I always try to stay respectful. Lebron is one of the greatest, but for me he is lacking too many Goat Qualities. He can still be proud of a great career, but goats are on a different level...
And to you, keep going with your show. I wish you all the best my friend

Thank you! So many are missing this. They compare it to Thanasis and it’s so wrong. Giannis is fulfilling his brother’s dream; LeBron is fulfilling his own dream.
Going into the NBA unprepared will turn Bronny into a bust and that’s not fair to him. He’s messing with his kids psyche to stroke his own ego.

      @Jimmy-ik2kc 4 месяца назад +1

@@dta1329 I agree,The Thanasis and Bronny situation are completely different. Thanasis can handle playing in the league because he's shown he can and he's a 31 year old guy That has paid his dues playing in the g- league and Bronny hasn't played that much in college so a lot of people don't think he's ready for the NBA and should've stayed in college to get more playing time and experience. I just hope that this decision that he's being pushed into by his father won't destroy his confidence as a basketball player.

@@Jimmy-ik2kc First of all Thanassis is a MUCH BETTER player than Bronny... Thanassis wouldn't be scoring 3ppg against college kids... Thanassis has played in the Euroleague and was one of the best defense/energy guys in the league there... Thanassis has guarded 18 year old Luka Doncic with decent success in the Euroleague... the same kid that came into the NBA and was an instant 20-25 points a night...
Sorry but Bronny is a 0ppg player in the NBA... he is a mediocre af college kid... one of those that not only not make it to the NBA but barely make a low end pro league in the world and most probably they get a 9-5 job and a college degree cause he's not pro basketball material... all he has is a super famous daddy who wants to put him in the league by force... also Bronny is 6'1"-6'2" with mediocre ball handling and barely a jump shot... what NBA team in their own mind would play this kid even for 5 seconds if his daddy wasn't LeDiva?
Sorry but comparing Bronny to Thanassis is a HUGE insult to Thanassis who has played at a much higher level than most college kids will dream of playing... people need to realize that out of the hundreds and hundreds of college basketball players every year only about 10-20 have even a decent career in the NBA... and Bronny isn't even top 100 in this year's college crop...

    - LeBron James: 2019 -> FAILED to make the NBA Playoffs, 2020 -> Asterisk BUBBLE Consolation Prize, 2021 -> LOST in the 1st Round, 2022 FAILED to make even the NBA PLAY-IN Tournament👀😅, 2023 SWEPT 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals, and 2024 Gentlemen’s SWEEP 4-1 in the 1st Round. Now we see why LeBron James went to 8 straight NBA Finals. Michael Jordan locked the GOAT Position at #1. Now ranking Kareem, Magic, Kobe, and Bird ahead of LeBron James sounds very logical. Bird is definitely above him, I have Bird equal first with Michael - I can back this up, but for sure beating the Showtime even once with his lineup puts him there, you think anyone would remember McHale if Bird didn't carry him to the promised land 3 times?
Magic/Kareem easy 3/4, I can go either way on those two in ordering.
Kobe is leagues above LeBron, I have him at 5, but wouldn't complain about anyone placing him as high as 3.
Before you even *start* looking, LeBron can't be top 5.

Re: donating to charities: for someone with a huge income, donations are a tax deduction which really amounts to allocating money to your chosen causes rather than paying tax (sorry, my internal attorney had to mention this) so for a person with a huge income to donate to charities, it's akin to having the privilege to decide where your tax money goes. Regular folks don't make enough money for this loophole to be doable. So these very public donations aren't as selfless as they sounds. When he (i mean Kyrie!) won against Curry in 2016! That's how much very little popular that guy is outside USA!

When LBJ has to audacity to say the Miami Heat team he joined doesn't have enough to make it work and win it, while he personally saying " not one, not two, not three, not four ,not five, not six, not seven ", literally proves that he is a total narcissist in heart, and I am sorry that personality will disqualify him from all the good he did because there is a huge chance he did all that for himself, look at what he is doing to his son, Bronny is not ready for the NBA, yet LBJ is forcing that to happen so he can be the first player to play with his son in the same team, another achievement toward his " GOAT " debate narrative, and what will happen to Bronny when LBJ retires? Oh wait he can buy a team and became the GM and give his son a good contract right? LBJ is not just toxic, but a late stage cancer to the NBA right now. " He is killing it " is a fitting way to say it.

No player that is known for losing should be sniffing the top five in anyone's list.
4-6 in the finals. Has the record for most games lost in the finals in NBA history. While playing most of his career in the weak East and with super team after superteam. Also getting swept in the finals TWICE! And 2 more gentleman sweeps with two 1-4 finals loses lol.
And as far as mastering the game of basketball, LeBron has never been in the top 10 of most skilled players in the league in any year that he's been considered the best player in the league. His skill set is limited compared to many other greats. LeBron has no bag, ISO game, no post-up game, always needs a screen to do anything, has an ugly jumper, his game isn't smooth. He looks silly wenever he tries to get fancy with moves that are out of his skill level. He shoots around 37% outside of 3 ft from the basket. And him lacking skill has made him the player with the most turnovers in NBA history. No player with that many faults should be sniffing the top five. And stats without context are meaningless.
Also Lebron got back to back bronze medals leading teams full of NBA superstars, and didn't win gold until Kobe came and gifted him the gold.
All he has done is stat pad for 20 years, and probably has been juicing it up with Balco/PED's.

Michael Jordan influence versus Lebron is not even close. People outside of the US dont know who is Lebron. EVERYONE knows Jordan, even who dont follow basketball. You wanna know why? Because MJ is better and everyone can see that.

I was actually a LeBron guy for a while but then I started watching Angry Old Hoops, Basketball Time Machine, Uncommon Cents, 2 Raw 4 TV now you, and it's like "How can I like this guy?" and whatever respect I had left for him died with that temper tantrum on the court at his coach! I mean are you freaking kidding me? I have never seen a supposed "GOAT" react that way. Also, I knew in that moment Darvin was gone

Well, having LeFlop in the GOAT conversation is insulting to the truly great players. I mean is LeFlop even a top player at the Power Forward position? I would still say no. You have Duncan, The Big Fundamental. Tim's nickname tells you right there, Duncan was beyond great because he mastered the fundamentals of basketball. Look at Karl Malone, no rings but dude was a beast on both ends of the floor but come to find he was a shit person, denying one of his kids or all them (I don't remember the exact story but he denied at least one of his many children). You have Christian Laettner, great college player, Dream Team member, decent NBA career. Dennis Rodman, multiple rings, rebounding king, member of the Bad Boys, NBA All Defense. Shawn Kemp, probably the closest to LeFlop in sheer athleticism but without the rings and trophies. Look, LeFlop is not even close to being all these rolled into one, he actually has performed well under the hype he had coming from high school. Kevin Garnett, T-Mac, even Jermaine O'Neal coming out of high school has great careers. There are just too many damn holes in LeFlop's career vs the hype of him entering the league. What's even worse is LeFlop Jr is now entering the league just based on his family name. It's absolutely disgusting.

Leboring inherited the gOaT status as a teenager. Jordan earned his place without the fanfare in the beginning, showing his will to win while having zero team support. Jordan created the megastar athlete, endorsement juggernaut, with the accolades and championships to back it up. MJ had people all around the world wanting to watch him basketball, wanting to play like him. LeBum inherited Nikes investment capital, and all perks of riding Jordan’s coattails in brand marketing. He gets the benefit of doubt by being Nikes number one athlete. All the advertisers that would pull out if they said anything less than generic cheers of greatness. Force feeding his games down our throats. News flashes of every qualifier stat and record to prop him up. He is the face of USA Basketball winning bronze. He is way down the list, behind players I would rather have on my team than him.

Agreed! We gave him way too much early on before he accomplished anything in the pros. Media was already calling him one of the greats before he even won a ring. I've never seen another player get treated like that.

This is my thing. People will say "stop talking about him not playing defense. You only talk about his Lakers years or his years after the Heat." If that's your standard we can't consider anything he did after Miami

Exactly. If that's the case then he just has 2 rings lol

The flops, I don’t know how I turned a blind eye to the flopping. I think he was sensational for 8ish years, and he wasn’t getting called as favorably so his size worked against him if he didn’t dance through the defense like a gazelle. And then I watched last dance and then watched western conference finals vs the Nuggets… and I’m like “what a clown”. His behavior is disgusting, when he plays well it’s not impressive, he just shoots better while being left open and exploiting mismatches. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Also Angry Old Hoops is my GOAT! And maybe my spirit animal. 🐐
I think if he retired 5 years ago I would have him top 5 and he’s played himself out of top 5 not because of his level of play at his age, that’s fine, but he’s fully displayed his weaknesses and his character because he can’t camouflage it with a good motor and elite athleticism anymore.
And BTM is also a GOAT! And I agree once you see it you can’t unsee it if you value ethics and integrity. The WWE theatrics… gross 🤮

I actually agree Sarah. If he retired in Cleveland after winning that 3rd ring I'd still have him top 5 too. It was still not 100% evident what a entitled baby he is. But now I can't even fathom him in my top 10 lol. 11 or 12 for me currently.

LeBron travels, carries the ball, doesn't play defense, not a clutch player, flops for fouls, lifetime 70% free throw shooter, doesn't hustle, doesn't fight for rebounds in the paint and doesn't have the winners mentality. Also the rumors about his PED use to maintain his performance into age 40 when all other NBA athletes showed physical decline in their early 30s or mid 30s if true would also disqualify him from consideration from the GOAT conversation although even without this last point he is not the GOAT.

I wonder if Lebron has any clue that people see and talk about his shortcomings. Is he even aware that he has shortcomings? He probably only hears "yes-men" in his social circle and doesn't expose himself to critics.

    1. Bron has made every player who was good before him, worse, because "his style" requires him to dominate time w ball.
    2. Bron always NEEDS 3 scapegoats per team. That was 1 reason he left Miami, noone would accept the narrative that Spoelstra was all of a sudden a poor coach. They pushed the Chalmers slackin, Bosh too weak and Wade too old narrative as far as they could.
    3. Bron has always had ONE move...head down and barrel down the lane
    4. He has destroyed each team by demanding trades and firing coaches, so NO TEAM is ever able to develop and team cohesion etc.

Bro - im 50yo this year was fortunate enough to have MJ as my idol in high school. LeBum would be called a joke at school back then. We would laugh at him bc hes a cry baby.
    Hes not even top 20.
