Mine was a PITA to get in and out.The second time I used the tool from ATI which makes the work much easier and less stressful for the crankshaft threads. I would recommend TIG welding the 4 allen screws that are on the back where the plate and trigger wheel goes.Mine loosened after 700kms because putting the damper in stresses/deforms the damper quite a bit.
Thicc a trigger wheel is what is used sometimes to reference crank angle so the ecu knows when to fire the ignition coils. There are teeth on it and when these teeth come close to the crank angle sensor, the sensor tells the ecu to fire. I think on my Miata ignition occurs 10 degrees before tdc.
Looks like everything under that car is brand new. Amazing that it’s so clean

11:57 proceeds to say its cheap. $180 bucks. At that point buy a wideband O2. You get a gauge and a sensor XD

Totally worth the added protection for the oil pump, especially if its still a stock pump.

I just wanna ask as I'm pretty new to all this stuff, what purpose does this part serve?
It absorbs harmful vibrations
Would love a car as clean as this. Unfortunately after 1 day driving here it would be filthy!
