Why is this song so beautiful - Not only because it steps out of the closet by its content. Not only because it advocates the right to love freely but also because this video executes it's story in such a poignant and subtle way. There are a lot of singers, directors and actors who would make videos around LGBTIQ and would go over the top with exaggeration and dramatization just to go with the trend. This video just does the right thing - express love in the most simplest form and yet raise curtains over our stereotypes. I'm so glad that I haven't seen single hate or homophobic comment here because it makes me feel like people are finally excepting the LGBTQ community in the Nepalese society and Sajjan did such a great job of showcasing that there is no difference in loving someone that's the opposite sex or the same as you and that love is love. I'm so proud of everyone that is part of the LGBTQ community and had the courage to come out and for who is still in the closet keep fighting and have faith.
Nah dont be proud of a country where a father ditches his family just because he had all daughters. Don't be proud of Nepal because it's not doing very good atm, maybe hope for better do something about it rather, but don't sit there and see a single video with less homophobic comments and and think to yourself that our country has made it. We still have a lot of problems going on but this little thing is also a step closer to a bit of open mindness, even if it is in very small part of our population. It's the same "small population" that can lead to a change. It's not a bad thing to be proud of that either cuz it's the small achievements that can lead to a big one. Everyone can have their opinion, and I agree with you, the whole societal construct of our country is filled with narrow minded people who have been taught of the things that are happening, they've grown up in that environment and that's what they expect the rest to continue as well. The way I understand it: In the song, the singer talks to his lover (most probably LGBT but could be anyone) who is uncomfortable identifying his/her true self and have worn a mask to hide it(कता कता छौ, कुन रुपमा , हराउँदै). His/her life is so tough that the only place they find comfort is on some songs (कुन गीतको, कुन बोलमा,आफैलाई, पहिल्याउँदै). The singer understands him/her, and expresses love. He also tells him/her how they have to play a waiting game for the society (तिम्रो र मेरो, हाम्रो कथाको, शिर्षक धैर्य बनिसकेछ). The singer suggests that the time is right to come out, to express yourself=> शिशिरको अँगारले (sunlight) भाकेछ (predict) तिम्रो आगमन . I was already into the feel of the song and when video made a twist representing LGBTQ community, I literally had teary eyes. This video just does the right thing - express love in the most simplest form and yet raise curtains over our stereotypes. We still have a lot of problems going on but this little thing is also a step closer to a bit of open mindness, even if it is in very small part of our population. It's the same "small population" that can lead to a change. It's not a bad thing to be proud of that either cuz it's the small achievements that can lead to a big one.
Everyone can have their opinion, and I agree with you, the whole societal construct of our country is filled with narrow minded people who have been taught of the things that are happening, they've grown up in that environment and that's what they expect the rest to continue as well. You gotta take all the small victories that you can get when nothing is changing.

The way I understand it:
In the song, the singer talks to his lover (most probably LGBT but could be anyone) who is uncomfortable identifying his/her true self and have worn a mask to hide it(कता कता छौ, कुन रुपमा , हराउँदै). His/her life is so tough that the only place they find comfort is on some songs (कुन गीतको, कुन बोलमा,आफैलाई, पहिल्याउँदै).
