And people argue shit like, whats the best wheel size, best tire model, best suspensions, best frame geo etc... Answer is simple: IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT YOU, not the bike.
its true, but i have a cross bike from an unknown brand (TOTEM by golden wheel group) i don t know if my bike can take so much torcher cause i still have to learn how to do a bunny hop etc but if the bike breaks can t afford a new one so what should i do
I appreciate this. Well done matey. Title caught my eye. I'm lucky enough to own a 1993 Chris Cross made by Chris Chance / Fat City Cycles / Fat Chance. ...woa, bonus trivia, John Tomacs world Championship winning Mongoose, was a restickered Fat Chance too! Cool coincidences.
I said to my girlfriend that I would show her a guy with Archangel-level skills. Several seconds past 1:20 she replied: "Archangel?! He is God!" I keep watching this video on a daily basis. The burst of energy is crazy here! Best regards from Ukraine, Mr.Akrigg. You are amazing.
Man this guy is an incredible talent. I ride my CX bike on MTB trails but I can't imagine how completely lame I probably look like after watching this guy. Damn!

I had no idea others do this! I'd just published my 1st log hop video on here when I broke my ankle a few hours later, but I'm slowly getting back into it, and I'd recommend this style to everyone. The bikes are as light as hell to get up and over stuff, 0 grip so great fun in mud and on slopes, and really fast which is crazy on mud or rocks etc. Just don't get tipsy and go for your 2nd log hop video. trust me it ends badly :)
What are the words in the beginning of the video? cannot understand some of them. - Cyclocross! what's about it? - Its like a road bike, ...... off the road - has skinny little tires, no suspention, curly wurly bars - ........ football on a weekend - riding in wind, .............., rain, wind,...... - .........chips ........, .......... beer - .............. with bike on a back - sound great, but ................... Somebody please help to underdstand, thanks.
- Cyclocross! what's that all about then? - Its like a road bike, but for off road - They have skinny little tires, no suspension, and curly-wurly bars - They race round parks, you know, where you play football on a weekend - They ride them in winter, in woods, in the mud, rain, and wind, over logs - And they don't seem to be too bothered about them energy drinks, they're more bothered about chips in a cone, fancy beer. - And they run up big hills like this with bikes on their back - Sounds great, better give it a go!
I don't understand cyclocross? Why not use a MTB? You're using the wrong bike on the wrong terrain... But there must be something to it, for some people are doing it. Anyone care to explain why? Thanks
You are right, he is showing off, I would not ride my CX bike over these boulders like that. But when you don't have large stones, too many tree roots to ride over or drops on the trail there is no need for a MTB! Again some people are more than happy to show off their mountain bikes on the tarmac.
I use a CX bike as a "fat tire" road bike that I can take through offroad connectors when I feel like it. A road bike would die offroad, and a MTB would be hella inefficient on tarmac. Manufacturers caught onto this idea, and that's how the gravel category came to be.
Those skinny tires shred up the trail and will have all the walking groups up in arms over it. Me thinks it will give them another excuse to kicks bikes off of even more trails.
How the hell does this dude not be more views good music funny and the bike skills are amazing
The beginning reminds me of the fast show "its brilliant!"
Pure madness!
Love it, I could sit and watch your videos all day..
Glad to see you back on a bike, Chris!
And people argue shit like, whats the best wheel size, best tire model, best suspensions, best frame geo etc... Answer is simple: IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT YOU, not the bike.
Exactly! Well said!
So be it.

The best rider
Chris Akrigg does CX.
There are so many WTF moments toward the end when he's riding through the mud. I cannot understand how some of that is possible.
I still don't get this sport despite its popularity. It's not natural and it's not comfortable.
Freddie Lacar what sport is comfortable? It's cycling, not sitting in a recliner, watching TV.
Saugeil, means awesome!
Cool

Катаюсь там где волки ср@ть бояться!
Dude...!!!!!
Тем временем кто то отбил руки на 100 мм. хода в районе Садового кольца...

There is only one Chris Akrigg.

Well, as long as the rider is happy, I guess is OK to ride a tricycle on a downhill.....
I use a CX bike as a "fat tire" road bike that I can take through offroad connectors when I feel like it. A road bike would die offroad, and a MTB would be hella inefficient on tarmac. Manufacturers caught onto this idea, and that's how the gravel category came to be.
He should find another sponsor like Scott, instead of Mongoose.
Trying to work out where it is filmed
make an high drop. that is easy

holly mud.WTF.
все ляжки обделал
He isn't riding bike, rather forcing it forward, through and over what appears in front of wheel.
