Liz! I've really been enjoying your vlogmas. I listen every day while I'm working and it nice to just have someone chatting knitting in the background! I'm only knitting two gifts this year (thank goodness) a Sophie scarf in a cotton/linen blend for my aunt who is allergic to wool and a "folklore cardigan" (Taylor Swift's sweater) for my teenage sister! Keep up the amazing work and see you tomorrow!!
@@emilyschaeffer3930 Emily it’s nice to meet you! I’m glad you are enjoying vlogmas…it makes me feel good to see it so well received because it does take a bit of time and effort lol Wishing you happy knitting on your gift knits!! My daughter LOVES Taylor swift and wants that very same cardigan!
Oooo the shawl is so beautiful. This year, told myself I'm not going to make any presents for anyone and instead of doing that I'm knitting lots of mittens for my family 😅Thanks for posting!!
@@sarawormewoole9284 look at you ahead of the game!! (I say this as the four unfinished child sweaters are staring at me…..hahahaha) They will love them!! Merry Christmas! 🎄
Loving your vlogs ! Ive got the Ash & Eve Carnival of Yesteryear Advent, I'm knitting the Anthology Throw by Curious Handmade, loving it so far, it's easy and great just pick up and knit pattern which is what you need this time of year !
@@juliedavies8145 thank you Julie! so fun!! I think we mentioned you were doing the anthology throw a few videos back. I love that pattern! I am thinking of making one of my own, using minis from my first ever dye collections as a way to remember them :)
No advent knits for me because I want to knit my mum a Sophie scarf, but I need to finish mine first! Plus I am crocheting myself a holiday inspired vest (based on Agnes vest) so that keeps jumping into my craft time. I have sooooo many other WIPs too and a long list of stuff I want to cast on…🤪
@@avamartinez1220 very cool! I love @_laurapenrose_ patterns. Me and my daughter will have matching pimpoms from last years advents!! And, I watch her vlogmas. She’s so funny and relatable.
Morning Liz. Nice to have my morning coffee with you before diving into some transcribing (is there a YAWN emoji - YES! 🥱) That skein really appeals to me with the bright green variations. The company who put this package together spent a lot of time and thought on it, didn't they? Obviously I have missed this year but I will pick up a set when we are over soon and set it aside for next December. This type of created Advent isn't well known here so I might need to start a trend! Okay, duty calls so have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow morning!
@@jayeclements6452 good morning! Yes Natacha puts a lot of time, love, and effort into her advents. That’s why I really wanted to share them. I feel like she’s like a friend, and I like to support her business and family. She’s just one woman- doing it all herself, all while being a mom and wife. I get how it can be hard. She is based in France. Her website is artemisyarns.com The ones on the wall are the advent from last year. She’s really quite talented with her dyeing skills. Enjoy your day! And thanks for hanging out with me :)

I love to make socks and my family loves to wear them (me too!) so I knitted a lot of socks for Christmas. Only 1 sock left to finish.

I was knitting my advent project (sibling sweater my size by Laura Penrose) while watching 😊
Using the grenouille 24-day mini skein and the teeny button 5-skein 100g solstice countdown 😊

I just finished a Seattle Seahawks hat for my brother in law. I don’t have an advent calendar
