I have to agree with you. Most baby monkeys that are in the wild, are usually extremely skinny. The monkey might think it's hungry. If something were wrong they probably wouldn't be active. If they gain too much weight then you have to obesity, diabetes and more.
These are longtail macaques. They are a critically endangered species, illegal to own. They aren't in markets, or "abandoned". Macaques live in large groups, and they never leave babies, even if the mother dies. These came from a poacher. This is not a good person.
