Can you tell me what the arch is (make a line between spring eyes and measure arch to the top of the spring) when the truck is sitting with the weight on the springs. I am wanting to use 63 inch springs on a Dodge M37 off road project. This would be a great help in figuring how high on the frame to weld the spring mounts. Thanks for the video.
What year is your Blazer.. I have a 87 K5 Custom Deluxe w a 5.7/SM465/NP208 but haven't done any gear mods or a lift so its basically all stock as a DD, but if I were to lift, would I have to upgrade gears?
Mine is an 84, and as for changing gears, depends what you have in it now, how big of tires you plan on running, and what the purpose of the truck is. If you’re just daily driving it I’d say you’d be fine, if you are rock crawling, I’d say to put lower gears in it
how much do these lift the truck? i have 62's on a 4 inch reverse shackle but they are all kinds of messed up and the shackle is completely flipped up. If i were to swap the shackle flip (they're diy4x so you can move it back a couple of inches) would it raise the truck? or would it fix the problem with the shackle angle and ride at the same height. any input would be tremendously helpful.
You should check out jonathan w he has a youtube channel he knows alot about these trucks hes working on one now and the front bumper is a main structure to the frame it can crack the frame at the steering box if you drive it without the bumper. I like the videos your getting alot done.

Sweet, it's going to be a badass ride. I would definitely go with a little bit longer shackle in the back, nothing to crazy.

When you did any lift or the spring swap does the rear end stay centered with the jump stop?
I think it moved a little bit not much
If were to say launch this truck how much would the rear springs compress?
Fedrick Wiley I have no idea honestly....
Okay thanks for trying to help
Ben... put spring sliders in the rear... no shacks in the rear.
What did you search for to find those ?
The bushing I mean
What kind of job do you have? If you don't mind telling me.
Kevin Roy I’m currently in my last year of school for a diesel technician program and when I’m not at school I work at a semi repair shop by me
Selling those rear 52s that you pulled off?
metalmulishasmith Sure, if you’re in the area. Otherwise shipping would be really pricey

Ben Kraus heard of it... definetly north of me lol
Why are you doing it all back yard mechanic style when you have a lift inside the garage.?
