    Sofia, I think that Chantecaille gold serum is probably for skin much older than yours - I bought it also but had the same reaction as you, it felt nice but I couldn't see any difference (I'm 41). I ended up gifting mine to my mum and I could see a huge difference in her skin (firming and brightening). She's in her early 70s. I don't have any lines or loss of elasticity, just a bit of sensitivity so I think it's probably just meant for more mature skin.

    I bought the la mer hydrating lotion at Costco after I finished two of those sample sets from Sephora I've been finding some great deals on luxury products at Costco rather than waiting for a Sephora sale.

    I got a deluxe sample of the RMS cream and it was fine but I love their oil. I got that and the mist in full sizes. I also love the True Botanicals creams and the plumping serum from Primally Pure. All have nice packaging, too. I have to use something hydrating over my Tretinoin.
    For the morning I really am enjoying The Outset collagen prep serum under my SPF.
    Would enjoy another bathroom tour/regime video!
    Edit: I just went cray-cray and spent more than I’d like to admit on concealer from Fara Homidi. It’s gorgeous though. Haven’t heard you talk about this one yet!

    The Biologique Recherche doesn’t feel harsh because it contains a numbing ingredient 😅 in the EU you can only get the version without numbing and it’s not fun😂 Definitely up for a skincare tour❤

    Thanks for sharing! I’m really loving the skincare from Le Mieux and Allies of Skin - both brands have incredible ingredients without the luxury price tag. Still pricy, but not crazy. Been using both brands for 5 years with trying other brands in between and nothing compares so far. Although I haven’t tried La Mer yet 😆

    I’m definitely going to try the rms moisturizer. I just started using the LaMer products in May. But I find that the LaMer moisturizer is a bit heavy for daytime use. They gave me several samples of the soft cream but I don’t want to spend that much if I can get a more affordable product. Thanks, again!

    Love the BR P50 Lotion as well and have gone through several bottles. Compared to other glycolic toners I have used, I find this the most effective and use it daily in my AM routine as I use retinol in the evenings.

    Hi Sofia,
    Few months ago Biologique Recherche came to Mecca Australia.🥳 I got Lotion P50 (we just have the phenol free version) and I love it.
    I like a lot L’Occitane shower gels and body creams.
    I have very sensitive reactive skin, prone to breakouts and mild rosacea. I choose skincare products based on ingredients and my skin needs. So brands like La Mer, La Prairie, Chantecaille, Sisley etc are not on my list. I tried them (curiosity) and I had huge breakouts. Not only they don’t have anything special in ingredients list but my skin hates them. 😁
    I have 3 favourite serums. 2 of them are from Allies of Skin: growth factor serum and copper tripeptide serum and one from Ultraceuticals: B2 hydrating serum. My skin is flawless: no texture, pores look smaller, very soft to the touch and healthy looking. My coworkers think I have a very good gene. 😁 Reality: 2 beauty fridges with skincare and a not so good gene. 😂
    I keep my breakouts under control with chemical exfoliants: Lotion P50, Deep Peel (Verso) and TLC Framboos Glycolic Night serum (Drunk Elephant)- I rotate them. Rarely when I have a blemish I use a spot treatment: Eradikate Acne Treatment from Kate Somerville (very effective with the fastest results).
    I can’t use retinol (no matter what form of retinol or brand) on my face (the serums mentioned above are a replacement for retinol) but I can use retinol around eye area - I have one eye serum from Dr Dennis Gross and one eye cream from Verso.
    For day time I have one face cream from Ultraceuticals (ultra calming range designed for very sensitive skin with rosacea) and a few eye creams from Drunk Elephant and Allies of Skin.
    For hands I like the hand cream from Barbara Sturm. I know it’s overpriced for a hand cream but I love it. In comparison with other products from her skincare range this cream is a bargain-$109 (Australia) 😁
    My empties for makeup are not too many: Sisley pressed powder and Hermes mascara. I already bought another powder from Sisley and same with Hermes mascara. I have the Chanel Sublimage concealer but this one I think will last forever. If I will lose it I will buy the same one.
    Thanks for sharing!🙂

      Which serums do you like more for fine lines? Eye cream? I also ave sensitive skin with rosacea.

    • @alya27092
      @alya27092 6 месяцев назад

      @@maritzac95 I like all of them. But if you have psoriasis or skin cancer history in your family and you can’t stand a funky smell the growth factor serum is not for you. So the copper tripeptide serum is a better choice. I apply first Ultra B2 hydrating serum (very good for rosacea, hydration, reducing the breakouts and minimising the appearance of pores), waiting few minutes and the copper tripeptide serum on top.
      For eyes Super eye serum (Verso) has retinyl retinoate (encapsulated retinol), antioxidants and other good stuff. Because the retinol is encapsulated it doesn’t irritate my skin (under eye and on my eyelids) and has a light cream consistency.
      For day time the eye cream with vitamin C from Drunk Elephant is very hydrating and also good under concealer.

    Ty Sofia- I am going to chack out the Biol Recharge but need to see hoew the scent affects me. I like the RMS moisturizer- got a sample so need to finish. Also interested in some of the other RMS skincare. LaMer is too heavy for me. I also like Revive Day Cream (sample).. and using IS Clinical products too. I like the line.

    La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser and the Triple Repair (Body) Moisturizing Cream absolutely got me back into buying drug store cleanser!! The quality is wonderful & ingredient checker comes up perfect! Nothing irritating to my skin, non-comedogenic!! I'm also addicted to Lumify!! I use 1x per day in the morning. Brightens the eyes beautifully!! ❤

      Are you referring to the trend of influencers selling all their stuff and going minimalist?

    • @literallyheather
      @literallyheather 6 месяцев назад +4

      @SofiaSeesBeauty I was thinking about it in relation to makeup, but in any case I think it is a boomerang trend from years of overconsumption driven in part by social media. It seems like the volume purchasing frenzy has died and now influencers are proud when they hit pan and are scraping tube's of concealer.
