The Most Insane Theory for how the Timeline in Life is Strange Double Exposure could work!

- I have a timeline idea for how we could be playing as Autopilot Max for the first 2 chapters after Original Max went back in time via Photo Focus to try to stop an Asteroid that had struck Caledon University.
Original Max meets Daniel at Away and then they work with Autopilot Max to save Caledon and to thwart whatever the Abraxis Society is planning. Afterward, the two instances of Max merge their experiences together and continue in one of the timelines.

16:25 Thanks for the shout-out! XD I think this story idea you have would be a great sequel to LiS 1 & 2 especially with Daniel also being heavily involved in the game. But I can't imagine how angry many fans would be though if Daniel got more screen time in the game than Chloe haha! (I'm all for it though, I absolutely adore LiS2)

@@Lyoko42o I wish. But nah I was pretty wrong. I only read all the news before the game came out + got a couple guesses right, like Max seeing a photo of herself on Safi's camera at the end of ep2.

So far your theory is right... but I highly doubt about the part of the future episodes where they are trying to go to Away and meet Daniel because that the place and Daniel in LIS 2 were made under Don't Nod, not under DeckNine.
But nice theory nonetheless, I like it 👍
@@johnlee64 Yeah, it was a stretch - a stretch I lost all hope for as soon as I learned Maria was just the publisher calling Safi & not agent Flores.
Tbh, I don't think I got a ton of stuff right beyond what had already been revealed. Like, a few extra bits, sure, but I definitely didn't imagine most of what happened in DE.
It all sounds like something from Heroes old-school series. Not to demean your theory but having such a plot in a LiS setting would be kringee, like a teenage power (anime type) fantasy. Such plot may sound bad but be done well, nobody knows.
Speaking of theories, i believe it is pointless at this era because only few indie writers stick to the rules of their worlds and to character archs. So trying to theorize is pointless though good if you want to share with someone. There are infinitely many possible plots, only the publisher chooses what it's gonna be and we know square don't want to stick to lis1 which had well written universe, powers, character archs, the publisher only wants something like we got in true colors - soulless story that provides a short time wow-effect that works best on teenagers and you forget it all fast. So trying to come up with a rational theory is assuming the writers know what they are doing, well, they showed it with Chloe they indeed don't know whay to do.
This game is going to be one of few pieces of media i theorized about hard, but in the end i will only see i was wrong and writers had picked some mediocre plot lines.
If you want i can give you my idea on an epic high stakes plot involving the saga of max preventing the end of the world.
