Watching it in the theaters back in the day was trippy. The sound effects were out of this world. Wish I could go 27 years back in time and watch it again.
It really was an excellent choice for the movie. Almost gives it a horror vibe. I live in tornado alley, and it’s not how tornadoes actually sound, but I don’t care. Because it’s awesome for cinema. 😂

Wow I didn't kno Bill Paxton has passed away wtf! I only thought Philip Seymour on this movie with the baseball cap running & yelling the tornado is coming is the only cast member that passed away wow. Damn that's crazy! Two really good actors. Rip yo 🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
What makes this trailer incredibly frightening is that there is barely any music in it. Sure, you can hear a little music at the beginning, but once the trailer progresses, the only things you can hear are the characters running for cover and the tornado roaring. Seriously, this trailer sent chills down my spine.
Bravo to the editors who put this trailer together. We get just a taste of the visual effects to leave us craving more - not to mention the F5 at the end of the movie is NOT spoiled - and the eerie fade to silence at the title card is fantastic; I wouldn't even have bothered with that last jump scare at the end.
Good Lord this trailer is legitimately terrifying. The fact that it focuses on some of the most tense parts of the movie without music and ends with the tractor tire flying at you followed by a cut to blank silence makes it incredibly unnerving to watch. I legitimately hope the people who worked on this trailer got more work in the film industry.
One of my favourite movies ever. I just love it! It makes you feel alive. It's amazing how alive you feel when you're so close to death. Evrything about this movie is perfect!
This movie has 28 years and still doesn’t get old.. Jan De Bont, thanks for that ! I saw the movie a million times and still mind-blowingly awesome !!!
Fun Fact: The last scene of the harvester tire hitting the POV truck is not in the actual film. Rather its part of the test footage made when the idea of this film was pitched to the studios.
If any film deserves a 3D Blu Ray conversion it's Twister. Twister was a complete effects driven film, and a 3D conversion would make the experience that much more immersive.
