2:45 don't cut the board, drill a hole and feed the wire through
Thank you
2:40
Why cut the board if it's not necessary?
Just drill a hole where the points meet.
When I saw that my jaw dropped. How do you record that lol. LYF3 H4CKS LOL

Can I just highlight that while all of these are very creative, some of them require special tools that not all of us have? Video is nice though.

“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”
2 Corinthians 7:10 NIV
10:24 DO NOT wrap anything around a tree and leave it for any length of time. In a year or two, it will kill the tree. It's called girdling.
I thought about that when I saw that rope hinge. I found this out with the rope I use to hang my hammock. Didn't kill the tree but realized leaving it too long made "ripples" (grooves where the rope was) around the tree. Not a problem if I don't leave it up for too long but the first time was several years when I didn't think about it doing that. Know I know of course.
Our neighbor who is ( not to put him down) very lazy and left a 4 x 4 laying on a crotch on a tree and the tree grew around it
@@aaa7189 the tree resbsorbed it’s kin. 😂
Maybe the video was edited since, but to what are you referring?
@@josephcline3652 I just skimmed through the video and now I don't see it. So maybe edited.
But it showed how to make a gate "hinge" out of rope by drilling several holes through end of a board, then weaving rope through a hole, around a tree, through the next hole, around the tree and so on. Ending up with board secured to tree but can swing back and forth.
.
The take away is if you tie rope around a tree and leave it too long the tree (which gets thicker as it grows) grows around the rope and it damages the tree.
"Girdling" is a way to intentionally kill off a tree or just one branch by removing a ring of bark all the way around. An object such as a rope or chain can have a similar effect over time even if not intentional.
Какие вы молодцы. Спасибо.
Seul problème c'est l'accélération des vidéos parfois trop rapides pour comprendre de quoi il s'agit. Sinon supère idées, bravo 😁👍

DO NOT splice stranded wire together as shown in here. It is a serious code violation. Use a wire nut, butt splice, wago, or other UL rated splice device.
Also, for the 3 wires to one, use a pass through wire nut, or Wago. Much quicker, and easier on your wrists.
Mitering boards of different widths was a good one.
@2:40. Great idea, but there was no need to use two pieces, or cut the main piece. You already had the location, drill it and pull wire thru.
At 3:36, clearly this tip is trying to demonstrate how to joint three wires without the use of a “pigtail,” but what it fails to show is that those exposed conductors should be thoroughly insulated; a far superior and recommended method would be to strip out all three conductors, add a separate 6-8in section of the same wire (called a pigtail), twist all four conductors together and thread into an appropriately sized wire nut. This leaves you with a single wire to manage and creates a joint that is both safely insulated and easily identifiable; plus, it makes it much easier to remove or add additional conductors if the need arises. Nevertheless, there’s still plenty of great tips that should used 👍🏻
That’s what I was saying I mean clearly this guy doesn’t care about code

As an electrician I physically gasped out loud when I saw that pigtail. If I opened up a box and found that embarrassment under some tape I’d be furious. I can’t even imagine trying to fix that or add another receptacle to the circuit.
@@believeinjesus6972 Shut the fuck up with your fairy tales.
What's the point of an magnetic pencil. put it in your pocket or lay it down.
Why do so much work bending wire in the exact right length for a circle. and having to make a new one for every different size? Just use a rope and adjust the knot for length. :)
What's the point of being rude?
Some of these are pretty cool. I don't think 2:45 required a cut though, maybe just drill a hole and slip the cable through?

Much admiration to those that shared tips n hacks...n def as well to those that made this video to share ❣
I like how they talk about how electrical work needs to be done safely or it can be a fire hazard; all the while showing you the stupidest way to splice wires that no electrician would ever do and would consider dangerous.

I didn't know you could remove the print off of pvc! Now I wonder if hairspray would work on it because I've used hairspray to remove ink from clothing.
It's the alcohol in the hair spray that removes the ink just use the strongest rubbing alcohol you have 75% is ok but 95% or even 97% is the best.
Huh did not think that would work, might have to keep that in mind.
The wood cutting & placement like a puzzle made me so happy.
Pratik bilgiler harika ancak ustalık için aynı şeyleri diyemem.
these hacks are actually insanely good
The tube idea is awesome.
I can't believe that finish carpenter just cut the trim in half for that wire to go through.Just drill a hole for it.
Good ideas 👍❤👍
I really with these videos would pause at each demonstration so you could actually read the text and look at everything, so you know what they're doing before they start. It also doesn't help that these videos are always played on a faster speed. This all makes it hard to focus on the task and understand what's happening. before you know it the video has moved on to something new and you're still trying to process what you just saw. I guess the only solution is to decrease the playback speed....
Click the middle of the screen and it stops. There's another tip. Lol

Excelente.
There was a couple really good tips but at 2:45 I don't know why he cut the trim board in half instead of just drilling a hole or put the wire in a conjunction box because a wire coming from a hole in a wall looks very unprofessional in my opinion.
Maybe they did it before they thought about it
I commented the exact same thing!
I mean in new construction the baseboards and everything have to get done before us electricians go in and put the heaters on, which is almost definitely what that wire was for, but still. Every carpenter ive ever met drilled/cut a hole for our wires lol
Amazing job I like it
تحياتي لك
2:45 Good Grief, just drill a hole in the board & pull the cable thru instead of cutting it in 1/2.......4:27 is a good idea & could also be used for when stapling clear plastic over windows to keep cold air out.
You just had to find something to bitch about , didn't ya .
There is always at least one in the comment section that has to be negative about something !!
11 minutes worth and you found something to complain about , good job . Do you feel better now ?
I bet you are just a joy to be around.
While I applaud your creativity, many of your ideas would not pass US building codes, and could get your jobsite shut down if a building inspector spotted it. In particular, some of your plumbing and electrical solutions are not legal. A homeowner needing to make an emergency repair is admirable, but a tradesman doing the same thing for money is a rip-off.
2:44
All you had to do was drill a hole on the X and then you could have simply passed the cable through, but instead, you decided to cut the board. Silly mistake.

Cutting a piece of trim 4 inches from the corner instead of just drilling a hole is not only extremely stupid it also just goes against all common sense....so like...what??? How did they even think of that. Did they bang their head against a wall 30 or 40 times and jot down the first thing they thought of
Just so you know. I’m using what you said in my life when someone says or does something stupid around me from now on 🤣
Smart "Tips and solutions" for people that never do any kind of work around their properties 😆
It’s a technique that can be used in multiple different scenarios. Yes in that one the wire could have been clearly fed through a drilled hole. But I use this when I have to install baseboard behind or next to toilets that have the supply line coming out the wall. If it’s a new installation then, again, just drill a hole and feed it through. But if the valve and escutcheon are already in place then this works to get the pieces behind the escutcheon and almost completely unnoticeable.
And to those who will say “just turn off the water, remove the valve and escutcheon and then drill a hole.” Some homeowners won’t let me turn off the main water and drain the system even if it’s just for a few minutes.
these videos are all the same thing....99% idiotic garbage and 1% almost useful info
