Genndy Tartakovsky recently said he has no
plans in reviving it and that it just wasn’t the same without Christine Cavanaugh and he didn’t care for Candi Milo’s interpretation.

He ended the show after 2 seasons. He gave it a movie and a series finale. CN were greedy. I understand that they didn't want to lose money on artist wanting to move on but they should have done their homework regarding what made the show good.

To me Dexter kickstarted the Golden Age of cartoons the same way Adventure Time would later do.

Dont forget the amazing outro by Mako and the subsequent jingle.
Enter at your peril, past the bolted door
Where impossible things may happen that the world's never seen before!
    In Dexter's Laboratory,
Lives the smartest boy you've ever seen!
But Dee Dee blows his experiments
    To smithereens!
There is gloom and doom when things go boom
    In Dexter's Lab!

Unless he produced some if not most of it himself from his inventions. Or he was connected to the grid separate from his parents bill. Or they’re just dumb and kept paying for a $10,000 electric bill every month. Lol
