I remember people bashing "OOTD". "This isn't DC", they said. You and real InSomnias understood how that song created a narrative and tone perfect for the "Villains" concept, and now with "JUSTICE" been served the contrast is even more striking and amazing. People need to trust in Dreamcatcher, because they never ever fails to shock and leave us satisfied with this much quality. Also, 5 out of 6 members doing the high note in the stages (after Siyeon's hiatus) is just another fact that supports the claim of DC being pound for pound the best Kpop group going right now.
I was one of those people. And I'm still on that opinion. OOTD is not a good song, OOTD is not DC. Justice is probably their best title track for me. And not because OOTD. Because Justice is that good.

OOTD was different by design, and they not only did that song flawlessly, but giving the depth of the difference that make "JUSTICE" being a "Virtuous" concept more impactful. "JUSTICE" is THAT song, you're completely right on that, and we can all agree on that, but I'm saying this because the DC slander on the OOTD era was unbearable, unfair and it really solidified how there's people that aren't fans of DC, but for the Kpop-Rock sound only, and that was unpleasant to witness.
There are 2 different things: concept and the song, the fact that I get what they were doing and what the message was setting foundation on (here in Justice) still doesn't change the fact that OOTD for some was awesome and for some (myself included) was awful. Reason: I can't stand girl crush and no amount of background story can change it when at the end of the day I can't listen to the song.
