magnificent performance! In my opinion one of the best overtures to be ever written, if not even one of the best pieces in music history. So much energy, creativity, harmony and positive vibes

I first learned the Overture to Candide in the classic Boston Pops recording conducted by John Williams. Later on, I got to play it in band in the Clare Grundman transcription. Save for the cymbal crashes, nothing - none of the impact, none of the harmonies - is lost with piano four hands, especially when all the energy and warmth are there in a performance like this!

thank you very much! I think the joy of playing piano 4 hands arrangements are imagining the full orchestra sound and how close we could get to creating that grandeur.

Bravo! I have not watched anything new on your channel for at least several weeks (I have been finishing the pre-press details on my new photo book), and want to commend you on not only your performance (highest calibre and incandescently bright as always!), but on the top-tier video and audio production: the multiple camera angles, subtle camera movements, and variety of closeups and angles of view. Best wishes always! - Ralph Sidway

Not only does Fazioli sound great, but the recording also sounds very high quality. Are you recording with expensive microphones with professional equipment?

thank you very much! We try our best to work with what we have, the microphones are semiprofessional.

Why did they go faster and faster? Bernstein ( The genius) wrote this piece at a constant speed. Apart from that I totally envoyés one of my favourite pieces of music.
