This video no matter how many times I see it I am in awe, would love to see Ren do the whole song Man's World one day ... God broke the mold when Ren was born,,, there is not any like him ... and all hid friends are talented too... when Ren plays he plays for the joy you can tell he gets lost, in the song and Sam is a wonder too,,, I hope all the best for both and hope they both go far they deserve it ...

Sam Tompkins has also squeezed his grapes while opening for and singing with Justin Bieber in the last year, and is currently on his own tour throughout Europe, while Ren and Money Game Part 3 has just won another award - this time Winners of the ECU 2024 European Music Video awards. Both coming a long way since this iconic busking session. Those folks on the streets of Brighton that day were witnessing something great, and for free.

That part where they come together for “ Loving you darling “ in harmony with eye contact and a shared smile is my favorite moment. The music comes first and that’s the reason why everyone that Ren performs with is so talented is because their shared love and passion for the music doesn’t allow for ego getting in the way.
Ren met Sam when Sam was about 16. Ren had finished busking for the day and saw Sam around the corner, no set up, guitar,amp etc so Ren offered him his guitar and amp. At the time Sam didn’t play so Ren played for him for his whole set and gave Sam everything that was in the guitar case. And REN ,being Ren ,saw the raw talent that Sam had and so they began busking together. I think that the whole story is on Sam Tompkins YT channel. He’s come a long way. Bieber asked him to open for one of his tours and I think that Sam is primarily based in LA.
And I think that, being in front of a church, Ren , who speaks through his guitar, was speaking in tongues.

Sam's "See Me" I really like. He actually blew up when the song Blind Eyed (Ren and Sam wrote it together) went viral :) So, he's on a label now, and they got him boxed in RnB. He does have a voice for it, ofc.

First time here. Great time. Love this video. It’s interesting to know that one day Ren had been out basking and he was on his way home when he saw Sam who was a young kid busking with a mic And no amp or equipment. Ren stopped, set up his stuff and said let’s jam! The rest is history.❤

Sam's a bit of a one trick pony, for my tastes. He does that one trick reasonably well but that's all he does, over and over and over again. He has no understanding of vocal light and shade and is frequently flat or off-key. You'll find a Sam or two on every tv talent show going. You won't find a Ren there! Ren's a unique artist. He's on another level entirely! Even if we're just talking vocals. Never mind the seemingly endless list of other stellar talents that he possesses. :)
Of course Ren is a one of a kind hard to find individual!
