I like the fact that they use the word Hoagie because where I live in eastern Pennsylvania everybody says hoagie. The sauce looked dry and not saucy enough and the garlic bread was way too crispy. Don't ever be afraid to ask for extra. I do it all the time I asked for extra sauce extra salad dressing if something's overcooked I will tell them. I would have asked for a new piece of garlic bread. When you spend that much money you should be 100% happy with your meal. Thanks for showing us. ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻👍🏻

Morning John and Bobbie, I’m sorry, but..I missed your video here. With summer coming up we’ve been busy. Cleaning and trying to get some repairs done. Our furnace quit big time on us here the end of April, it was old..the cost was astronomical to replace, and were elderly (70) and I can no longer work for health reason..but..I so..enjoy y’all different videos. Thanks guys.

Thank you for the review and your honesty. I'm a fan of pizza and spaghetti. The roll looked so hard that I couldn't imagine a preparer putting that on your plate. Next time, ask for a better roll.

Thanks for the honest review. The salad looked fantastic, the pizza looked a bit average. The kitchen staff probably coated the pasta with olive oil before adding it to the sauce. I've seen that done many times, and it can prevent the sauce from clinging to the pasta.
The former restaurant manager in me can't help but say: I know you said the service was good, but your server should never have brought you the plate of spaghetti with a burned roll. The roll should have been swapped for an edible one before the meal was placed on the table. It was is a definite markdown in quality of service in my opinion.

Honestly the food looks really good. The sauce amount is really a personal preference. Most better quality pizza doesn’t have a lot of sauce on it. I can understand wanting more sauce.

Olives!!!!!! I opened a can of whole black olives the other day and I've been neglecting them. I got a head of iceberg and a cucumber this morning. I usually add shredded cheese and Ken's Light Caesar, today extra olives! three meatballs, but they're baseball sized!!! Also, you should have asked for another garlic bread roll.

Hi Bobbie and John! Enjoyed your review. One reason the sauce may not stick to spaghetti perhaps... they Par-boil pasta al dente ahead of time and drizzle oil on noodles to store,then reheat per order.And/or put oil in pasta water. The garlic knot roll was more like a garlic NOT roll! All the Best to You!

I love spaghetti but i dont get it when i go out because i cant eat but alittle of it and i definitely would have to ask for another roll that was too done, the pizza looked cooked and it seems like a nice place to eat and i love salad and yours Bobbie looked really good thanks for the review, God Bless

When I first saw your spaghetti 🍝 I was thinking man that’s a lot of sauce and then you spent half the video complaining about how it wasn’t enough 😂 wow! I would’ve need about three times more dressing to choke down that salad 🥗 the pizza 🍕 looked good. Thanks for the video.
It looked like it but it didn’t stick very well. Look at my fork it looks plain with no sauce on it. It was a big dish with a lot of pasta and we like a lot of sauce but it is a preference. We ate at a place recently that didn’t put a lot of sauce on the pasta but it was amazing because the pasta itself tasted so good. Will bring that video out in next few weeks. If you put alot of oil in the water when cooking it can make the sauce not stick to the pasta

Like I said I was in the food business for over 30 years when I was younger before I became a business owner, I can tell you every restaurant will rinse their pasta otherwise it's too starchy and the pasta will stick together. The reason the sauce was not sticking to the pasta was because the sauce was too chunky and too dry and was not saucy enough. I feel like calling them on the phone and complaining about their sauce. 🤔😆😆

Today I got the fired Fish that Harvey's on have on Friday along with rice, But they need good easy on salt, Cause it was salty,and the rice was mushy and Collard Greens was straight give it a 4/5.

That's one of the biggest SIDE salads I've seen - I can only imagine the meal sized salad. I wonder if they goofed and gave you a meal sized salad? Hmmm. Just a TIP: Always check the website of the places you are going to visit for coupons or special deals. That place offered a website coupon for a free dessert if you spent just $20 for dine in or to go orders. That garlic roll should have been turned into croutons. 😜 Regarding the sauce - if its too oily, it won't stick to pasta. 👍 Ok, I'm done rambling - as always another great review and have a relaxing weekend.

Here's my guess. John used to be in some kind of construction job but he's on disability now, Bobbie is a semi retired hairdresser but she still does some for friends and family when she has time.

Compared to other videos, your videos lately have an orange or almost sepia color to them. Are you doing something different as far as cameras go?
Using the HDR in the editing software to brighten them up more. Have tried this in a few of them. Makes them not as dark
@@jbinthehills I see, well your earlier videos had much more clarity and vibrance to them.
We are using a IPhone to film these nothing fancy and just a selfie stick no gimbal and sometimes they are dark and this appeared to brighten them up. They just added this to the editing software that I use which is also in the phone. We don’t use a computer for anything. Being almost 60 years old I keep the editing basic lol 😎😎
