I never got the joke years ago, Meiling isnt asleep cause of her sleepiness schtick, she was left out of IaMP and put in later as a patch
Gensokyo is the sort of place where you occasionally have a swimsuit fight break out in the middle of the street.

It's an easy mistake to make, but Demystify Feast is NOT Remilia's theme. It plays on stage 5 of Story Mode, for which each character has a different predetermined opponent.
Sakuya and Patchouli get Yuyuko, Alice gets Youmu, Marisa and Yukari get Reimu, Reimu, Youmu and Yuyuko get Remilia; and Suika gets Marisa.
It's why most of these matchups are the ones occuring in the video, which by the way, is epically awesome..

I think this one may have been made with a whole bunch of people simple because it's the 20th one, and something special needed to be done for the mini-milestone. Ya know? Since, didn't the 10th one feature quite a few characters, and a good bit of action...I think.

AngelCat432 the artist in the beginning (not this video) couldn't draw Touhou characters' outfits so he put them in swimsuits to make it easier, now it's a gag
Pretty sure I'd have watched this even without the swimsuits.

Honestly the “demystify feast” remix here is very nice and would love to have a longer version of it.
For all those making fun of Yohmu's lightsaber: that IS one of her spellcards in IaMP. It's called Meditation Slash and is the second most anticlimactic way of defeating Suika on her final spellcard

Loving the swimsuit designs, especially Yuyuko's.
Well, ZUN's original art dosn't actually portray them as lolis and almost all of the characters are more than 18 years old. It's just that the characters are...not all that developed in the chest region. Because of that, some fanart makes the characters lolis.
Play with Reimu, Gather all nine spirit points up to the final spellcard, then spam Musou Fuuin-s. If you can get this while on the 2nd sign, all the better.
Since all of this totals up to 18k damage Suika will fall pretty fast
I hated going up against Yuyuko in IaMP, her last spellcard hurts bad, but in SWR it's even worse... ;_;

They don't look like lolis. As I said before, there is absolutely nothing sexual in ANY Touhou game. You could say that ZUN is fascinated by moe, but he has no dirty thoughts regarding his characters; he tends to maximize the cuteness factor, though and this makes them look younger.
Actually I'm pretty sure this is IAMP seeing as all the characters in the vid were introdouced prior to or (in Sukia's case) during IAMP. If in was SWR it would have Iku, Tenshi, Aya, Komachi, and Reisen in it.

No, ZUN isn't a lolicon; there is nothing sexual in any of his games, and all characters are well above the age of consent :-D.
Therefore, keep two things in mind: there is a huge difference between lolicon and Moe; and second, most "faggots" are pretty open-minded, so mind the way you use it as an insult

drayeleth Iamp=Immaterial and Missing Power) is the 7.5th installment of the Touhou Project by Team Shanghai Alice's sole member ZUN along with conjunction with Twilight Frontier. It is called "7.5" because the events chronologically take place between Perfect Cherry Blossom (TH07) and Imperishable Night (TH08). It was developed alongside Imperishable Night, and released at the following Comiket 67. Immaterial and Missing Power differs from the other games in the Touhou Project. Instead of being one of the series' traditional shoot 'em upgames, it is a 2D fighting game with a heavy bias toward projectiles. Because of this slant, the spell card feature from the series' other installments also plays a role in this one. In addition to being a player's means of using special attacks, after getting opponents down to a certain amount of HP in Story Mode, they will unleash a spell card, which involves trickier attack patterns and must be overcome to defeat them for good. As the story goes on, enemies will have multiple spell cards.
Immaterial and Missing Poweris the first Touhou Projectgame to be numbered with a decimal. Though it was released after Imperishable Night, the events of the game chronologically occur between it and Perfect Cherry Blossom, during the summer of that year.
The game was a collaboration between ZUN's Team Shanghai Alice and Twilight Frontier. ZUN worked on the scenario, Suika Ibuki's character design, the spell cards, and a few pieces of music. He also supervised the rest of the elements of the game, though granting the members of Twilight Frontier an amount of freedom in the process. In addition, he worked on various graphics and some of the programming.
Story: Gensokyo has settled down after the Spring Snow Incident that occurred in Perfect Cherry Blossom. Reimu Hakurei and the others are currently having a feast every three days at the Hakurei shrine. During these feasts, a strange mist appears. The playable character decides to get the cause of the never-ending feast schedule and the mist. This incident was later called the "Night Parade of One Hundred Oni Every Four Days" by Aya Shameimaru in Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red.
The perpetrator of the incident is an oni, said to have disappeared from Gensokyo, named Suika Ibuki. She thought that it was a shame that the flower-viewing season had been cut short due to the very long winter. She spread herself out in the form of a mist all throughout Gensokyo, and "gathered" the hearts of both humans and youkai to cause them to have a feast every few days.
Because the art of oni extermination has been lost to Gensokyo, the girls could not eliminate her, but the mist disappeared afterwards and feasts started to happen less frequently.

@TrombeX2 Heh heh, poor Meirin. She actually was supposed to be in the game, but the company that made it didn't put her in the story mode. But I guess you knew that if you knew Meirin WAS in IaMP.

You should probably be more specific when you say "Witch". Touhou has multiple Witches/Magicians.
It had everyone who didn't have an EWI and them in swimsuits. Although why did Yukari have a red one on instead of the blue she previously had on, She looked weird having the red one on.

I think this was a SWR one. Because Hong missed out on the whole thing, explaining why she wasnt in SWR. If this one was IaMP Im pretty sure she would be awake. Lawl.
think about this: the entire Touhou cast lives for the sake of a good fight; you cannot represent them as merciless warriors, therefore you have to compensate somehow, and it was by amping the cuteness factor. My feeling is that, had ZUN not done so, then the characters would have degenerated in something akin to Hellsing (watch the Sakkyun Light clip and see what I mean). I'm exagerating a bit, I admit; the point is that it wouldn't have been a series enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age

Makes sense. Then again, I'm only commenting on what I've seen. Makes me see what would be easy when I finally get to playing IaMP.
At least it's not how anticlimactic it can be when playing SWR. Whether it's getting a skill up to max level (like Reisen's mind dropping and disorder eye) or using a character who's 2B (like Komachi) or 2C (like Suika) work as an anti air. At least some characters fight someone else in SWR.
