Hey man awesome work! How are you getting your backing track? with other words, how did you remove the guitar from the song? or did you only make sure you sound higher than the guitars in the song?
I love that you took this out by ear. But guitarist to guitarist, are most of these songs from them in Drop C? Because see I took out "Your Guardian Angel" by ear and it's just 4 chords the whole song. Let me know man!

It's in Drop C, and I don't think you can find those tabs because I learned it myself ;) as you see, by not finding the tabs, people don't know how to play it correctly. That's why I learn the songs myself by ear!

I don't remember the exact settings, but it should be something like: Gain: 2 o'clock Bass: 12 o'clock Mid: 10 o'clock Treble: 3 o'clock For the second guitar I just altered the settings slightly just to have a little bit of a different tone. I hope this helps you out ;)

@@migs08 Yes, exactly! I simply used different settings on that amp, with higher gain and lower gain. I actually quickly opened up the session and realized I was using Logic Pro back then, not Pro Tools. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the settings back then, but I'm pretty sure that if you crank up the gain, scoop the mids a little bit and boost the treble, you'll get a very similar tone. You're welcome for responding :) and yes haha the video is quite old. I would definitely record this so much better now! Yes, I like that part too :D

So there must be something else you're not doing correctly. Simply take a guitar pick and slide it over all the strings after the nut. You should be able to hear a sound immediately!
