ya hunting turkeys with the bow is very primal i use my ow for everything but these turkeys always leave me wishing i would have just bought a gun sometimes..i like the rage brodheads or the big reapers the best thing that can happen is the arrow sticks in the ground so the are pinned and they cant run away... the giatteens are the best though but if you dont hit them in the head the get knocked down and fly away and die... i never new they had decoys like that wow that is way cool.. thumbs up.
The three basic calls that a barred owl use are, "who cooks for u,who cooks for y'all" and they will also do what sounds like a laughing type wall "wa wa wa wa" then roll your tongue at the end. Then finally there last call is a go to call if the gobbler don't gobble back to the first two, it's a very high pitched scream that they do, those tips should help you because they definely helped me
what ever happend ike with the other channel you were in the begining stages of makeing the welding fab stuff.??? or the contractor tips or what ever it was.??? it looked interesting..
Anyone have any additional advice? Ive looked on forums youtube & watched countless hours of hunts. I have over 15 different calls, blinds & 4 set ups. 2 years running & nothing...if nothing after a third Ill give. Only times ive called any in I was withing 5 ft but it didn't have a beared. since then no luck. I hit the woods as early as 3am & as late as 730-9 depending on light. Im in wv & water plots/ fields are almost impossible to find due to hundreds of other hunters so im stuck more in covered woods
I haven't seen them to much while driving in the past couple years. I did catch a big bobcat on gamecam in my hunting area too. I saw 5 last week while walking to set it up but they all ran up hill onto one guys property. Ive tried to ask him if I could hunt the edge of his field but the guys never home but I hear him during open season, he always gets more then bag limit
Call soft during the morning, nothing quick just yelps. When they fly down do one set of yelps and cackles then shut up if he calls. Wait until he calls then some more yelps. Main thing is don't move that much be quiet and let him work.
i watched this until you started calling with the pot calls. Some advise, dont wear red white or blue while turkey hunting. If you dont know why, stay in bed

Most of these tips were out in left field. This guy hasn't killed many if any turkeys !Turkeys don't use trails !!!! Mostly bullshit !

My no good shed hunting dachshund. He loves being out in the woods.
should I add turkey to my land there all around but never on my land thank you for any feed back we have 30 acres which there is a lot of deer
I just don't have the cash flow right now to fund both channels. I hope to buy a welder soon and do some how to videos.
Cool landscape where is this located?
thanks for the tips
simply scout!
have you ever used a magnus bullhead broadhead turkey hunting??
What kind of broad heads do you use?
Isn't it a bad idea to move around and go after the turkey when there's shotguns all around?
Can I hunt turkeys without calls and decoys? Like spot and stalk hunting
I have. I just hunt them like deer. Figure out where they are going to be and sit and wait.
My advice for u would be to try to practice more with that owl call
What was that that ran near the bottom of the screen at around 2:20
03:55 THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!!!!
1:58 something ran behind you in the brush to the left.

+Morgan Nathaniel my wife's Dachshund
you're not sure what is it
17:15 listen closely and you can hear gunshots
I think it was his dog.

It's because turkeys hate America. That's also why we eat them on thanksgiving.
Yep, the pot calling did it for me too :)
There is no water near my land and i spook tons of roosting turkeys. i dont think you should follow that rule
+NeedForWeed16 They gotta have water somewhere.
