If you're not the primary ball handler or tend to have more catch n shoot scenarios then claymore and catch and shoot stack nicely

This might sound silly as hell but I've learned pushing the X button like you mean it...not mashing it..but not a tap either makes a damn big difference.

I understand. I’ve felt the same but it’s silly! You really want to make sure the shot registers but I also run very late. But if you mash it like you said it seems like you may not to release your thumb as fast. So it’s really a muscle reflex.
Slippery Off Ball is Goated. If you’re a spot up or a build with minimal ball handling but a lot of shooting badges use it. The way to use it is move the right stick in various directions to get open your defender won’t be able to keep up off ball pest won’t help.

I get guardup to activate on those 'half crabs' where the defender is somewhere between behind and besides you. I feel it helps a ton allowing me to be sloppy while crabbing people

I see where he’s coming from, but to me deadeye works in every instance blinders would and since I’m 6’3 it really helps. I was able to core it out on Gold just as fast as I did on agent 3 so it definitely kicks in a lot, especially when you shoot and the coverage is open instead of wide open. but that’s my personal opinion, makes me more comfortable especially if you’re defender is good at closing out.

Yo dirk recently got the game, I wanted to make a 6"7 iso lock but I see they nerfed steals. Do you think it's still worth making or should i just make a 6"9?
I have a 6’6 that isn’t even a lock but has high vert and block and just that alone helps against rim running bums.

youre wrong about claymore ..... for all my spot up shooters who stands hash or in corner.. if you stand still for 1 sec it activates. if primary ball handler makes your defender bite to him and youre open BOOM claymore
2k lab tested and said it was 2 sec
