My son 2yrs old
At the age 6- 8 months he use to respond and tried to speak
After 12 months he stopped speaking ,we moved to london @ age of 19months, he use to spek very rarely amma,nanna,ammamma,thata but speak very rarely last month he used to give reply for rhymes of two three but again suddnly stopped he is active but not showing intrest to speak
Presently im giving screen time 1hr only.
Im unable to conclude whether it is speech delay or autism..

Ma'am my daughter is 1 year 8 month old. She is saying one word like ma, pa, chok, khabi but not more than one word or sentences. She does eye contact. She responds on name calling. She enjoys and plays with family members. She makes us understand if she wants anything. But my concern is why she is not speaking sentences. is there any issue with the speech? Also she demands mobile or TV very much. If we refuse she cries a lot. If she sees any ones mobile she becomes adamant to have the mobile. What can be done in this case?

There are many techniques, activities, therapies available on RUclips for enabling speech in children... at any cost kindly AVOID SCREEN TIME... let your child cry now, its okay... divert your child in other activities, stay more and more involved with them, play with them, make them understand their environment... Ye autism nahi hai. Mobile addiction hai. Mobile dheere dheere kam kar dijiye. Improvement dikhega. Aaj kal ke busy jamane me mobile puri tarah hatana possible nahi hai but kam se kam chalane dijiye. Zameen pe chod dijiye dusre khel khelne lagegi.

Dont worry, she is too young.. eye fixation takes time to develop.. Social smile comes after 3months. Talk to the child with facial expressions & vocal intonations.
