Hackett. If you're blaming Russ you don't know ball. Also McManus needs to stop trying to convince every coach in our dreaded coach carousel that he can kick 60+ yarders in-game. Good god. His max range out of Denver is 59, idc. In Denver on a lucky day he can hit a 60-62 yarder. That's IT.

Put it on coach, and two horrible fumbles. There you have it. I also think that coach should have given the starters a little preseason action, especially considering the newness of the team (new QB, new head coach, a bunch of new players, AND coaches, new ownership, and a relatively new GM). Given all of that, they needed more prep time! A point that some else made to me is that, why pay Russ all of that money and not let him do his thing to some degree??!! What message are you sending your QB, by going for a ridiculously long field goal, instead of going for the five yards needed when you have been moving the ball pretty well all day??!! 😡. The decision to kick was ridiculous, and using up the game clock was boneheaded! Falling behind in this division by losing a game that you should have won is frustrating to say the least!
Honestly they’re both to blame. Hackett showcased terrible time management, but also Russell is ten year vet, and also should know the the situation as well. They had the two minute warning with all timeouts, and how you both not aware of the situation?

Neither? Fumbles and penalties are to blame. Time management definitely sucked. The team as a whole needs to clean things up.
Those are definitely factors, but they were down one with the two minute warning and all three timeouts. Both Hackett and Russ should understand the situation

This Broncos team isn't ready to play Football. The Head Coach wasn't ready for this game. Two delay games on Russ, shame on the QB. Too many offensive players were just standing and not helping to push the RB to get more yards while the defensive players got held on the RB. Other players weren't putting much effort to play to win this game neither. If this is their attitude of playing Football then the Broncos most likely won't reach .500 this season.

One thing I've learned throughout rus' career, we never blame rus. It's always the coach made a bad call or the o line doesn't block. It's never, wilson didn't execute the play correctly or wilson is holding on to the ball too long.

@@jpeezy9157 Who said it was all Russ? But to pretend that the SB season was all LOB is false. Why do ya'll pretend Russ didn't make game winning drives during the season? LOB lost leads. It's the nature of team sports. I'll never understand hate for a player that did so much good for the city.
Near the end of his time in Seattle he began to get criticized for holding the ball too long. The thing is there was always something far worse responsible for a loss than any mistakes Russ made. Russ did so many good things that it was hard to criticize him for the little things he did wrong.
Russ was unhappy his boyfriend (Seahawks) were so controlling, never let him have any say in the offense. He left him for his new man (Broncos) and wouldn't shut up about how he is now in a partnership where he has a say in the offense. So either A: he was lying about the partnership and Hackett is as controlling as Carroll or B: he is in a partnership and he was part of the decision to kick the 64yrd FG.
Either way it's a bad look for Wilson.
