Alchemy and carpentry actually both make money. Alchemy you can level up sheep pets (make sure you have things like a God pot, cookie etc. for the alchemy wisdom), carpentry can be done by buy ordering and crafting enchanted melons into enchanted melon blocks and selling to NPC (or any other profitable crafts, there are lots)
