      I hope they build a new one. It won't be easy though because the components of the plane were made in the 1980s and are no longer in production.

      @@ValentinShevtsov I know the other airframe for Mryia was around the Antonov factory at Sviatoshyn Airfield. Would be a great opportunity to give it new avionics and better and efficient engines. Sadly also the An-22 got damaged.

      Hopefully. There is a demand for such planes, so it's not only in the interests of Ukraine. But even if someone funded the restoration right now, realistically, it would still take at least a decade. We won't see Mriya anytime soon.
