I wish Calligraphy Master make some compilation for wax seal once in a while. I love both calligraphy and wax sealing because they correlate to each other.
they would make for lovely little chocolate designs. especially if the machine is made to drip the chocolates with slight imperfections so that you can get a box of thin crispy stamped chocolate seals
The fancy mixed colors are cool an all but I would never use it on an actual letter.. sure it looked vibrant but it made it hard to see the actual seal, especially the ones with letters. When I seal a letter with my initial I want that to be visible to the receiver.
What's your country? Usually amazon has other vendors as well and usually there is always some that will ship it, but let me know the country and might be able to help ;)
Ebay is the cheapest source really. A pretty big chunk of online vendors (that sell the more affordable wax seal stuff) I find are just reselling ebay stuff at 5-10x the price. If you're willing to wait a bit it's definitely your best bet, even a lot of the custom stamps on etsy are done in china and then sent to you.

Claire Volger Do you mean the gold sparkle or the little icons in the stamp itself? J Herbin sells the sparkle stuff. The little icons in the seal itself are tiny pieces of sealing wax cut to shape

We had an annual historical society banquet and would mail special invitations to "celebrities" The invitations were hand calligraphic and "wax" sealed. We found that wax was too brittle for the USPS machines and discovered that hot glue worked very well. The hot glue was more flexible, stuck to the parchment well. It did not have the sheen of wax, but a very good substitute. We had to order a box of 100 RED glue sticks but lasted us forever. The glue gun made dispensing very quick and easy. You had to let the glue cool a little so that would not stick to the seal.

I do wax sealing and have a custom ring. I dont know why but it is so fun to me.
