I usually do like 80 hour week on week off spurts, probably because im an engineer.
It makes it difficult for me to work with other people that aren't on that schedule.
I enjoyed the platform discussion, im building one, so things I learned:
when building a platform consider how security will work, and new biz will form on top of your platform, how you can create a cooperative seems like it would have helped valve and founders.
AND since my cofounder is my spouse, I might need more therapy.

@@RawStartupHey Heine! Look! There is super-successful platform called Hootsuite whose core value totally relies on using various social media APIS. This product has been operational since '08, but they've NEVER been screwed by the core providers/suppliers(social media APIs).
