- Welcome back to more Dragon's Dogma 2. I recently started a NG+ playthrough and wanted to try a little bit of solo gameplay. This game is very much meant to be played with your group but seeing how powerful you can become it is still possible to solo a lot of the game. The Thief vocation is so overpowered it's not even funny. Just keep your stamina in check and you'll be untouchable. Formless Feint is insane, I love it
There’s a few that are broken. Thief, magick archer, warfarer, and sorcerer/mystic spearhand to a lesser extent
formless feint is the worst skill ive ever seen in a game like this. it literally plays the game for you and gives you godmode... just why. who thought of this and who green lit it?
@@user-xo2og8kv1o wait until they release hard mode/dlc. They’ll probably also nerf it so it consumes stamina when it autododges
@@2HandHangerDunksOnly the problem is not the stamina consumption or anything like that. its the whole "auto dodge" mechanic, its just stupid and the least engaging thing you could think of when designing a skill. its jsut a really horrible and boring skill all around. some real game design genius at work.

I love that you casually just climb up the 2nd cyclops and casually rip into his face. The first action being a "better sit on my bum real quick to get rid of the human on belly" :D

Thief is my overall favorite. Started as a thief with my main pawn as well and keep returning to it. The dps and formless faint and smoke bomb are just 💪🏽
Just got this game a few hours ago, played for maybe 2 at most. I'm hooked already
Solo strider was my favourite way to play DD1, looking forward to doing a solo ng+ run with thief

I know all the crap that has surrounded this game since it came out, but I'm personally enjoying it and my older sons are enjoying it, too. It's a little choppy for me on PC and apparently it was pretty bad for my older sons on their consoles. But overall it's a fun game.
Let's Hope the customers' critics will push the developers to give up the paid services and work on performances and saves patch.

The mts available for this game are about as innocuous as it it gets and completely unnecessary for your play through. This is not a game-as-service, and nowhere near the level of sh-tshow that the suicide squad game is.
@@HappyMSI1Unfortunately, that's a higher-up Capcom suit decision to make shareholders more happy
theres a mod you can get on nexus mods which turns on frame generation and it allows you to have a fully smooth experience with 100 fps in towns and 150+ in open world. (Im using an RTX 3080 with the mod and those are my numbers.)

The awesome thing about soloing dragons dogma 2 is all the pawns roaming. So meat shields galore.
good stuff homie! how do you feel about shadow cloak? I play on steam so I have some mods that allow me to use 2-3 different weapon skill pages and i’m still trying to find a good use for it. Mostly just for style points / immersion it seems.

Dude you’re a master. I’m 10 hours in and I’m still trying to get the hang of combat lol. I tried fighter first but I literally couldn’t stop getting stun locked. I’m having better luck with the warrior. I wanna try theif but I hear it’s practically easy mode lol.
All classes can be very good, play what's fun to you
@@swiftyunknown That’s the plan! I’m currently looking at augments I want and changing my vocations based off of that. I’m eager to try archer next!

I hope they'll update the difficulty. My problem with this game and the last is that once you reach a high level, the game becomes way too easy. It kinda spoils the fun and challenge.

Thief definitely needs a bit of balancing but man is it cool to watch. Some games you just wanna feel awesome and this game does a great job of that.

@@victorhugo-rf7py Yeah, they can, I think I was half asleep when I typed this because I know you can do it with a sorcerer and a thief, not sure about a warrior however.

Bro is this mods or a feature that you can turn those stupid helpers off? If so it changes everything for me
Just don't hire any secondary pawns and kill your main but don't revive them. You could try just making them wait in a town or something out they tend to teleport to me whenever I'm in combat so it doesn't work very well
@@Invictus40k I mean I could do t hat or they could just shut the f*ck up and not repeat the same thing 500 times, lol. I seriously hope they patch that, so you can turn down how much they spam the same lines.

You can turn "the helpers" dialogue off in the menu. It's under pawn dialogue.
I love using the thief vocation, but when it comes to skill synergy, I am somewhat awful
I use enkindled blades, blinding wind (I think that's the name), the beyblade move, and the smokebomb
I just want to have skills that help with most situations, whether I'm fighting a group of small monsters or a big one
Hah, fair. I always run formless feint for group fights, the ensnare for flying enemies, enkindled blades and they beyblade move.
But is the Deer okay? :P
God I hope they improve new game plus. Need new enemies and loot man.

no one really gets it but level 54 is really high level i completed the game 3 times and my level is 43 😂 . the game is just too easy i hope they enable an ultra nightmate mode so i can play 1 more time lol
Enemies need a health increase lol. What's the fun in two shotting a monster? I feel after a while that would be boring af.
What about warrior class with the two hand? That’s the one I really want to do but I want to solo this game. I can’t stand having party members. They made them absolute jokes. Literally like nonstop they just run off cliffs or some stupid crap like that and die in ridiculous manners. Even if you tell them to wait when you try to do exploring they will still find ways to somehow die. Not to mention having random dudes be in your party and constantly having to change that is like the dumbest mechanic known to mankind. It’s no wonder why you don’t see it in any other game or at least as far as I know. I can’t imagine this is a very likable gaming mechanic. How the hell are you supposed to get invested in the story or your characters if there all just randos made by other people or CAPCOM that your having to change almost constantly? I just don’t see the appeal at all. Your better having this be a solo game or if you were to do party members have them be all ones you can create and keep in your party and level up equally and that all have their own backstories and quests. Or have it like most games where you make your own main character and then the rest are characters already in game.
But the problem with solo gameplay is it’s damn well near impossible especially early on. Like if you want to be a fighter class you won’t even be able to do damage to like half the enemies in the game cause you need elemental damage which you can’t get unless you like buff your sword and shield and I’m not even sure you can unless you have a mage with you. It’s either that or you have to find a weapon that already has the buff on it or something. And I don’t know if you can craft weapons with enchantments on them cause I didn’t get that far into this game but regardless it’s like they made it near impossible to solo cause they really want you to use pawns but I hate them. But I still want to play the game because it looks gorgeous and I want to explore the world so it’s so damn annoying. Plus you have very few ways to heal unless your like a mage. And potions are not really that easy to come by even when you make them. You also have so little room to carry shit it’s ridiculous. I was struggling even when I did have a full party. I barely could pick up anything without always being heavy weight so I can’t even imagine with just one person how bad that would be. You wouldn’t be able to pick up shit. Carry like 5 items and already be on heavy set I swear. I’m not even kidding, it’s that damn bad. I remember I had like two camp bags and a few potions and then my armor and because of all that I was in heavy weight. I had like nothing on me dude. Like this game bro.
Everyone saying the game is too easy while it is still frustrating difficult at times for me at level 31 I think I need to switch to the Thief vocation 😂

Bro go run solo in back bakbathal and fight the dragon while a Minotaur chases you, a pack of wolves hunts you down and 4 fkg owls attack you. 😆 it happened to me and I realized warferrer was crap lol.

The combat in this game is too easy now that I’m a high level orges and cyclops no longer offer a thrill I hope they make a hard mode
The true ending has some nice challenging new enemies, but I agree the game isn't very hard when you figure it out

Being are so quick to complain and judge. This game is one of the best and most fun. If you got an old bootleg pc or laptop upgrade. You probably don’t have the requirements listed that the game requires.
