Hi John Paul! Before answering your question, you must first know if considered bang religion nowadays ang Buddhism or more of a philosophy? Some scholars say na Buddhism is NOT a religion but some studies say na it is both. If we will go into narrative na it is a religion, there are 2 different subdivisions ang Buddhism. Namely Theravada and Mahayana. Theravada rejects the concept of God. While Mahayana believes that Buddha is a supernatural being pero sabi nila, anyone can be a Buddha basta you have to be enlightened. So the bottom line is, it is case to case basis. May subdivision ang Buddhism na hindi naniniwala na God si Buddha dahil tao lang naman daw siya. Pero may subdivision din na naniniwala na he is a supernatural being, at kahit sino ay maaring tawaging Buddha or the enlightened one. If you are still confused about this, kindly rewatch the Mahayana and Theravada Video Lesson and you may compare the two. ;)
