I probably will too or soak next time.. The person I saw do it didn't and I didn't think about it.
Store-bought surely aren't wasting the skins so I've probably had plenty of whatever can be on them, but not next time. Lol

Thank you so much for the video. My local area has run out of onion powder. Been trying to buy it for the past week. My secret ingredient in most dishes. I’d no idea it was this simple to make ❤

Same. We use onion powder in most of our cooking and it's expensive where we're at. So, this saves money, doesn't have anti-caking agents and it tastes better to me. When you try it, come back and let me know what you think.

@@SimplyShonnea I will do. Was thinking of drying them out in the air fryer. I’ll give it a go.
Wonder if there’s a shortage. Hadn’t thought about the anti caking agents until you’d pointed it out.
The tiny jar I did see was very expensive and granulated. I didn’t fancy that one.

@CL-un9gg That's a good idea if someone doesn't have a dehydrator. Thanks! Oven could also work at a low temp.

@@SimplyShonnea I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ll need to go buy a pack of onions.

Unless those are organic onions, I would worry that rats could have crawled on them in a warehouse prior to buying, even in the back of the grocery store that happens, I would have washed thoroughly first or better yet just take off the skins.
