I actually used to have piranhas. Feeding them was always a fun time, but they were really calm otherwise. They were even afraid of us whenever we would clean the tank or get too close.
You're honestly one of the reasons i wanna learn Biology again, like holy fuck?? A jar of piranhas???? Imagine if i owned that.. The kids i could scared 🌝

My guy, you have my dream job. Also, fun fact, in Brazil, "piranha" doesn't refer just to the fish. It also serves as a slang word for a promiscuous woman, kind of like calling someone a hoe or something like that.
Hello Mr Biology guy, I'm kinda curious on why Herpetology section is a confidential one. I hope you give us a quick explanation for whatever the reason. Thank you!
When I was a child my father told me the story of the cow-eating piranhas. I never heard it came from a book written by an American ex-president. In my father's story, when the locals wanted to cross the river they had to sacrifice a cow to make the fish go to a separate area. From seeing their behaviour in fish tanks, I knew the piranhas' reputation was a bit exaggerated or that maybe in the wild they formed massive schools. Anyway, thank you for explaining where all that came from.
there's an exotic pet store near where i live, and theres a piranha for sale inside that's very friendly. they'll get excited and wiggle around at you if you approach the glass. so cute!
I know he's a professional who works here and has permission to do all these videos for RUclips, but it's just so much funnier to pretend that he's just some intelligent nerd who breaks in on the weekends and pretends it's his place.
Oh man, I was very interested to see how you would react to your channel getting so much attention, and I am thoroughly impressed. This is your best video yet. Thank you for your work.

I'm not a scientist by any means. I have a close friend from Brazil. He's from Sao Paulo and has family that lives in more rural areas around the Amazon. Fishing communities. From what I understand, there are numerous species of pirhana. The Amazon River is the most bio diverse amongst pirhana. Behaviors vary amongst all pirhana species. Although the pirhana's reputation is largely exaggerated, the locals from Amazonian regions are still cautious of pirhana. I thought that might be worth noting? 🤷♀️ If you go visit a new place, do as the locals do. Lol.
Now this is getting wet and wild Haha I commented too early. Also want to mention how GOOD this channel gets by the time. Started watching it for curiosity and the animal stuff, now not only that but also how entertaining you are Haha. Keep up with the good vibes

I've actually gone piranha fishing in the Amazon. Our guide had to go to the hospital when he got the tip of his finger bitten off demonstrating how they don't bite you if you stick your finger in the water. We used the old piranhas as bait to catch more. I was too big of a coward to try and eat one tho.

Love the videos! I’m curious, why is it illegal to record video in the Herpetology section?
