      Interestingly not - it was a name developed back in Scotland before this James Rattray had arrived in Otago

      @@toituotagosettlersmuseum9107 Well, whatdoyaknow! What's the chances of that?? I see also that the stream running into Pelichet Bay is called Opoho Stream, but when I was a lad, we'd play in the bush there and it was called Black's Bush and I recall the stream was known as Blacks Creek. We used to catch lobsters there and boil them up in old baked bean tins for our lunch.
