Thanks a lot for sharing your work and your workflow… It’s so inspiring, that I can’t find the words to express how grateful I am. You made me buy a MPC Keys 37 in replacement of my MPC One (1st gen), and I’m actually working around to master it the best I can.
I have a question : which course do you recommend between the two one can find on your website that is the most appropriate for MPC Keys users ? The MPC Live Mk2 or the MPC One+ ?

I had to come back. That is it. That's what these mpcs needed. Now they sound right and complete. Let me find out they was playing with our freaking money by holding this back . Im upset and happy at the same time.

Attention Everyone: If you are considering getting the course, it is well worth it. I am 1/3 the way through and it has been great. What makes it better, is that Malo is responsive to questions and technical issues I experienced. I have bought other courses where the master class creator would never answer. So, if you are on the fence, buy it.
And now, I am on my way to buy this soft clipper.

considering what the timestretch does to the transients of the snare, a clipper may be required for snares and hats

That was fire. New to MPC One. The link only shows options for Windows or Mac not MPC how do I get the MPC version? I have a Mac.

Those A/B tests are hard to tell because it's just so much louder (like 30%), it'd be curious to hear a gain matched comparison on 2 pads
They are much loader and they are both peeking at the same levels, that’s what this soft clipper does best. Allowing you to push the level without clipping/maintaining the same peak levels as your original sign. both are peeking the same. The only thing is that the soft clipper is being driven much more extreme, but at the end, they are both peeking exactly the same.

It’s a well known fact A-B comparisons should be done at the same volume levels because the human ear always perceive louder as ‘better’.

Question. Is your MPC Live 2 course downloadable or only view on the site? If online course only, is there an expiration or can I come back anytime without time expiration to complete or review the lessons?
Hey brother, thank you for asking this question and you will have access to your account to view it on the site indefinitely so there is no expiration date on it. Plus, it keeps track on what chapter you’re currently on in the videos you’ve already watched marking them off.

To be honest I was saying the mpcs are missing something to output that sound that the old mpcs have and that soft clipper is it. I don't care what they named it but I know that what was missing and it should be free cause it needs that to be complete by default.
Your SPOT ON, I was not expecting much on this one until I slapped it on my drums. It’s a must have in my personal opinion.
Yea i wasnt even thinking about getting this until he pressed play.. last month i was messing with the mpc2000xl. And this plugin gave me that same gushy feeling that the 2000 naturally has. Im coppin. Lmao
It wasn’t missing. If you know how to make drums hit, you can do it with or without the Air Soft Clipper. The new clipper just gives you more options.
You can use all the mental gymnastics you want but it all boils down to is either you’re going to buy it or not. Akai isn’t going to give it to you.

I bought the soft clipper but i can't use it in Standalone because it don't shows me the clipper there. I'll see what the Akai Support says in the next day
Yo !! I had a similar problem as well. Shoot me a DM on Instagram if you have it. If not, I would go into your settings / activations / and right there manually put in your serial number and refresh the page
@@malobeatsit says the number is already used but i just registerd it in my account
Try switching to Controller mode, then switch back to Standalone, it should show up when you pop back into the Settings after doing that (worked for me at least)
If you purchased, make sure it's on your Akai account FIRST, then go into MPC Standalone>preferences>
Activations and it should be there. If not there, restart a new project and then go back into activations and download. That's how it worked for me.
@@IsshmanGarcia yo follow this message says he got it right on the spot. As long as you’ve purchased it using your account and that’s the account that you’re using on your MPC you should see it pop up automatically when you refresh it.
That's a basic DAW feature, it should not be an additional DLC.
