Laura is an absolute star! I'm an ADI over here in Ireland. I've never heard the affects of dyslexia described as brilliantly as Laura has done here. Thank you for this video.

Thank you, what an excellent example of client-centred learning. This video is equally useful for learners, parents, ADIS/PDIs and examiners.

Am I alone in thinking that having to look at a screen whilst driving is not the safest thing anyway?
I listen to the directions and don’t look at the screen, so I can keep my eyes on the actual driving.
Never mind the safety aspect of looking at a screen, I can’t look at a screen and hear the directions without getting completely confused, because my mind is preoccupied with making sure the audio and visual are in agreement

Thank you for this fantastic video! I have driving lessons booked in and I told my instructor I'm dyslexic and I explained to him the common issues with it and he said okay I can be patient with you and I am very calm. I want him to tailor the lessons to adapt to my needs and requirements and I written a list of techniques and learning styles i want my instructor to be with me like multi sensory learning visually and tactile touch and post it notes and diagrams and usinf highlighters and to give me a brief summary written down of each lesson of what i have learned and need requirement. Hopefully it all goes well.
