Can you tell me why Ducati is using a double swingarm (rear) on the new Panigale and a single Swingarm on the Monster? Because they used a single Swingarm on the Panigale before and NOW changed to double. WHY?
You’ve made a great decision to buy a Ducati Monster! It’s an amazing motorcycle known for its style and performance. Hope you enjoy it to the fullest!
Ducati’s decision to use a double swingarm on the Panigale and a single swingarm on the Monster is based on different factors. Panigale: The double swingarm offers greater stability, especially for track racing, where high speed and aerodynamics are crucial. Monster: The single swingarm is lighter and designed for everyday riding and easier handling. Previously, the Panigale had a single swingarm, but in the new models, it was changed to a double to enhance performance and meet racing demands.
@@BikeBlog-o1b No. Double swingarm is better for EVERYTHING. Except slightly weight gain. You have repeated the Ducati Marketing Office because they have NOTHING to say actually. They told their customers for years that single swingarm IS THE WAY to go. Won two World Championships with it. Then LOST to BMW . And NOW they want us to accept a new story they are telling us. Double Swingarm is the BEST solution for bikes above approx 50HP and especially for such powerful bikes as the Monster.
