Actually 3:59 yes a company can indeed require a dress code as a 1099 contractor just like a truck driver has to wear a hard hat in some facilities. If you do insurance as a contractor, you going to meetings in flip-flops? I think not.
FYI, vehicle has to be 2005 or newer. I went through the signup, got the text to download the app and complete my profile. I went to add my vehicle VIN in the app and was unable to add it. Support told me for their commercial insurance, the vehicle must be 2005 or newer.
The average order pay in my market is $20 to $30. In order to see the big $50+ orders require a certain number of orders and a minimum customer rating, and volume is low. I would recommend 3+ XL bags, and a cart is required when you get to the large orders.
It sure looks like Zifty isn't paying the drivers the full tip amount. Zifty said a 15% tip would be added to orders of $100 or more. Then you showed an order for $599.85 15% of $599 is $89.97, yet the driver will only make $24.00?! Where is the rest of the money going? Hmmm.
There might be a maximum tip amount ? It’s pretty rough expecting a customer to pay a $90 driver tip when they’ve just paid a premium amount for food and delivery. in a restaurant it’s different because there would usually be 6-7 people contributing $15 each
Thanks for watching, lighting is tricky I have two Elgato Key lights. That Philips Hue lights you're seeing are quite strong so I need to make sure colors are accurate without too much color bleed on skin tones. Probably more detail than you were expecting 😂
Mike, please include that this company will not accept your vehicle if it is older than 2005 (for delivering food, not people?) nothing like filling out paperwork and then, "oh by the way, your vehicle (no matter how well maintained, no matter you experience or driving record) wont work....
I've done a few catering runs on DeliverThat, they're even more tightly run regarding prep/arrival times I feel which means you should actually have less wait time than traditional food delivery.
Zifty ? Wtf never heard of it or know anyone who has. They might pay $28 per delivery but would you even get one of those per day ? it’s not like they’re a household name you know 🤷
Very true but at least it's on your radar, what I do is bookmark websites then check back in every few months or so. That or if they have a waitlist, that's ideal because then they'll reach out ASAP when they launch in your market
I hear you, I imagine it's the market conditions for catering so no large businesses to source orders. Events, parties, clubs etc could still order catering though
@@LawPope Biden doesn’t even know what day of the week it is. How is he going to stand up for America in a state of Emergency ? In this day and age you need a president with some balls. Trump has balls
Tips traditionally are pretty solid on catering orders, even a 10% tip on a standard office order of $300 is great for the time. I think that's one of the good things about catering platforms, companies are going to still tip a percentage and that's not affected by platform changes.
Yeah it’s all the RUclipsrs blabbing about everything. They are the real ones who are messing everything up for drivers. Anytime something comes out or happens on a gig app they go spreading it like a wildfire. It’s really starting to make me real mad. It’s like if you find out something good just keep quiet everyone and their grandma doesn’t need to know about it
@@YourDriverMike the problem is the when the companies get big they start tip pooling so now that instead of what one order gets a big tip gets reduced because of other orders are not so good so they mAke up for it out of the good ones
⚡️How about $35 per offer? Watch this video next: ruclips.net/video/sBUtY52fmn0/видео.htmlsi=tA4xe64A2qXqxNRa

Hmm definitely need to indicate that on their site. Appreciate the heads up
Thanks for sharing bro !!!!!
Appreciate you watching!

More excellent information!
Do you have any recommendations for catering company gigs in South Florida? Happy 4th🎉
I'd check out this, GoShare, Metrobi, DeliverThat, Dlivrd. There's others, I'd check online and also look for local/regional options
It’s not true most ziftys drops are 19 bucks. They do occasionally have others. The more saturated the more lower the pay got.
By chance, are there any catering apps which do allow bicycles? I have a cargo bike/trailer and can certainly carry more than a trunk's worth of food.
Doordash has a bike option. Ebike too.
That order of $599 should tip about $90 yet earning is $24. Am I wrong?

Not available in OC, will check back later.

Not seeing them in the Portland OR metro area
Not available in my market

amortizing a new vehicle for this pay....🥸🤮💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
I'll check it out but I suspect driver's are going to have long wait times at the catering company. Long wait times hurt driver's.

I just got in waiting for my documents to clear .. I can't wait 🎉😂
What was the app I am android
Let us know how it goes!
On that app, you will be waiting for a very long time. I signed up two months ago and still haven’t been cleared. I’m about to uninstall that app.
And I am on a iPhone 11.
That sample with a $600 order clearly didn't show the tip if it's showing $24 estimated earnings.
$600 bill plus 15% tip would be great then if it's $24 base + tip
@@YourDriverMike Its not though took $750 order today and got $34 for it no extra tip with it probably $20 tip and $14 base
Have you done any deliveries with zifty? If not zip your lips
@@therecipe5362 why do you think I replied I’ve done 10 deliveries with Zifty actually one being today… maybe read it again

Thank you
Glad to help!
They lowered the base pay to 14 dollars
Think it's worth it for $14 + tips? DoorDash is $2 base pay
First 🎉
Thanks for watching!
Their fantastic. I get great results $22.00 - $60 plus for caterings.
Awesome glad to see you're having success on Zifty!
None of this stuff in small town areas
I hear you, I imagine it's the market conditions for catering so no large businesses to source orders. Events, parties, clubs etc could still order catering though
They suck😮 they are very controlling trying to make you a w2😮
Their not in cali
The market coverage listing have several cities in California.
Bwahahahahahaha 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Tax Free Tips are coming! Vote Trump
If your doing gig work and paying taxes you need a better tax guy.. also f trump.

If that happened, more people would tip much less or not at all. It wouldn’t benefit you.
Now that everybody knows here we go tips are going to start going down

Und you probably have to pay a monthly fee too just like the other side hustle apps you mentioned… TRUMP 2024
I run 10 apps and never had to pay a fee whatsoever at any time.
No fee, that Dumpling grocery was the only one I've ever seen that had a fee but that was more of a business opportunity than a full on gig app
