Great looking turkey Brian! The injection really kept the great meat juicy! Perfect color on it too! I’ll definitely check out those rubs! Cheers brother!

Looks great. Turkey has always been my nemesis! Last year spatchcocked and on the pellet smoker. I took it off at 164 degrees as poultry scares the hell out of me and don’t want to poison anyone 😀. It was dry. This year taking it off at 159 though. Also have the Meater and love it.

Thanks! Ya you’ll be fine. When I pull off at that temp I always let it sit out for 30-45 minutes after I bring it inside. It continues to cook that way

Nice job Brian! I've been doing my turkeys on my pellet grill since I got it. I've brined mine and basted with butter a few times during the cook and couldn't be happier with the results. The other nice thing about spatchcocking the bird is you can easily separate the leg quarters mid-cook if you need to. The breasts on the turkey I had last year were proportionally larger than the legs, so when they hit 175, I took them off and put the breasts back in until they were done.

Hey Brian, I have to OK Joe Bronco Pro and a pellet grill. What do you suggest, spatchcock pellet or hang in the pro?

Hmmmm that’s a tough one cause both ways turn out awesome. I’d prolly spatchcock on a pellet grill. I’ve spatchcock’d on the Bronco pro before and it turned out awesome.
