I really want you to know how much I appreciate how you research the items, before you show them to us!!! I know that you are an awesome teacher, by the way you present things!!! Thank you, so much!
The orange & trophy shaped perfume containers are new to me and I can see why they would be your favorite finds in a while. It is amazing that Scott had an orange shaped bottle as well! I love old glass perfume containers, and all vanity & boudoir items too. Another wonderful video baby. Tell my little buddies hello 😘💗😘💙
The attention to details on the glass bottles is amazing. The color is wonderful. When I was a much younger (I’m 71 now), I discovered Evening in Paris that came in a small blue bottle with a metal lid in the shape of tall topper. I saved my money forever and purchased a bottle. I saved it forever. I can’t help but think of those little blue bottles in a dump somewhere. I have literally never seen once since.
My next door neighbor family were eccentric hermits, when the last one died, her family threw everything away, the most beautiful pictures and treasures were just discarded,in one of her purses was a bottle of Evening in Paris.
Those glass samples are called “nips”. They were sealed samples, perhaps before the day when we had plastic stoppers. Réplique (pronounced Rey-PLEEK) was a beautiful perfume. I have a little mini, too, but the perfume is brown and turned. The perfumes in minis don’t have a long life, unfortunately. And you have the SchiaperelIi Shocking bottle. Wow! I had an orange blossom perfume in the exact same small bottle you have! It was wood with the glass vial inside. I love the large orange one that you have. My mother brought it back to me from Florida, yes in the 70s. Thank you for sharing your collection. It’s fun to see. 😊
I love antique and vintage perfume bottles , I have some beautiful ones , I love the french ones that have beautiful boxes . I love your orange blossom perfume.
I have a Nina Ricci Lalique bottle I picked up at an estate sale for $2! I have a small collection of perfume bottles, too. It was an accidental collection, lol. The dress form bottle is very cool. That fill-a-bag sale was fun.
The perfume bottles are lovely. I remember the little vials of pwefune you had to open the glass tip. It was always scarey to me. You always find such wonderful things. Plus you are so informative. Thank you so much for showing us some more of your beautiful treasures. Take care.
B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L! My sister still has a small box of sample perfumes from the early 70's that our grandfather gave her. It contains about a dozen tiny bottles. I don't know that she ever used any of them, but she loves them so much! TFS❤
Hello! I've said it before and I'll say it again....I love your channel! It's so fun to see what you have in your collections. I love the perfume bottle collection. I have a few that I just cherish too. Regarding the Schiaparellia perfume bottle, yes it was a very famous fashion house back in the day and I believe Wallis Simpson was a big fan. She wore many of their designs. She was the famous american divorcee that King Edward married when he abdicated the English crown. Looking forward to more of your collections. Have a good evening and take care! :-)
Silly you! You have such an abundance of amazing content. Enjoy your weather! You can see I'm bingeing (sp?) your channel tonight. A favorite pastime of mine💖
I have a beautiful murano handkerchief vase I inherited from my aunt. She knew I had an appreciation for antique and vintage so she left it to me. I could not find a mark anywhere until one day I was holding it to my glass front door and the sunlight coming through. Turns out its lasered in there and it's a famous artist that did the vase. It has his name and Murano Italia on the bottom or inside I guess and it's difficult to see. I was thrilled I found it and will cherish the vase. I love your collection videos and I learned about the Coty today.
Since you like Victorian items and glass, and find many of these things, look not only for Lalique, but also others like French art glass makers- Daum Nancy and Emile Galle. They work in French cameo glass as well as Pate-de-verre. The signatures must be learned because these are forged just like Tiffany has been. French opaline (various colors) is another fascinating area of collecting. All these styles of art glass are amazing. Beginning in the late1800s and transcending throughout the Art nouveau and Art Deco periods. Galle and other French artisans also copied Tiffany’s Favrile glass. There is nothing better than finding a $600-$1000 French art glass piece at an estate sale, especially when it is tagged $10. Good treasure hunting!
Can't wait for party, or did I miss something? The chanel bottle, couldn't be anything but number 5 , my mum had that , it was her most treasured gift. Back in the day, when you had to go to France to purchase french perfume. She savored every drop and boy was it well cared for. Always kept cool and in the dark.
I have a collection of miniature perfume bottles that I love but not many full size bottles. You have some gorgeous ones. I remember those little vials of perfume they weren’t terribly expensive, I think they were called perfume nips. The ball at the end of each vial had a different color. The case included a card with the perfume listed that matched color. Those broken vials were sharp.
Beautiful collection. I love them. My 2x great grandfather’s brothers and father were silversmiths in Birmingham, England and I have been hoping to find a couple of their silver topped perfume bottles online - I have only seen sold examples so far.
When visiting my cousin in a small town in Tennessee, we'd walk to town to the variety store and buy perfume in the glass amulets where you broke off the end to release the perfume. Heaven for young girls. haha
Lovely bottles❤️I have a small collection & cherish them. I have visited Paris & they have 'perfumerie' stores! I purchased 3 small Lalique bottles❤️ I look forward to the next video!
Do you have the type with the spray bulb ? I used to love my Grandmothers perfume bottles, I have never seen any like them since, I used to stare at them as a kid, that was the mink coat era with the great jewelry she had and beautiful fancy clothes, even her slips were so fancy, have never seen any like them.

Evening in Paris bottles are readily available on eBay! The blue is really stunning!!
I was thinking about that myself I think I may have the bottle. My friend's dad used to joke about an evening in Skegby which was a local area to us!
My dad had a blue evening in Paris bottle. He loved the color.

I have a Mirrored VINTAGE Tray just like yours that you are displaying your perfume bottles on.....They are BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE MINE...
I remember getting perfume samples in those glass vials that you break the tips off! I remember being scared to cut myself!
I remember my grandma giving those perfume vials to me; along with mini Avon lipsticks. My grandma knew the way to my heart! 💄 ❤️
The mini lipsticks were the way too my heart too! The glass vials scare me too!
Thanks! I’d forgotten about the vials with perfume! Looking forward to part 2.

I recently learned about Wallis. An interesting story.
Well I can't pick a favorite until I see part 2 but I just love the terrific label on the Replique bottle.😊💕
I’ve been so bad. I’ve been taking advantage of the good weather and not filming. I need to get in part 2.

My fingers are crossed for you!
My mom had the tiny vials. I would get into them but never mastered opening them without cutting little fingers! This was in late 50's
I’ve never opened one. I’m too scared.

They also did gowns for old black and white movies, and film noir.
I’ve seen an antique orange perfume holder that the perfume was in glass shaped wedges!
That sounds amazing
I'm so sad I threw away my Paul Gautier body perfume bottle. What the heck was I thing? Love your Chec glass.
I’m sure we’ve all done stuff like that before. But now we know better!!
