giving Kojima 10 min to talk about how he, a game developer, is developing a game and giving a muppet 5 to do some stand up, but cutting Neil Newbon off after barely 1 min as he thanks the fans who felt seen by Astarions not-super-subtle abuse victim story infuriates me so fucking much that I almost forget that there was like, not a lot of big reveals at the show. Like, for how bad Geoff wanted it to be Winter E3, there was zero super big AAA reveals besides maybe Monster Hunter
Yeah the fact they they barely gave devs time to accept and talk about their achievements at a fucking AWARDS show while bending over and shilling so many ads and famous people was infuriating. Like what the actual fuck

@Exel3nce don't get me wrong, there was some cool stuff. But it's the fact that Geoff clearly has favourites that he gives a bigger spotlight too (Kojima, etc) and they all fell pretty flat.

As much as I absolutely loved Dredge from start to end, Cocoon was an insanely well made puzzle game that didn't take away the award from anybody, definitely earned
I think the problem is that literally everyone id talked to had never even heard of it before. Like it might be a fantastic game but it beat out games that were way more popular and were also extremely good

This wasn’t a great event, but Neil’s award made me tear up - after everything he’s gone through, it’s a genuine inspiration to never stop trying.

As many will likely say in the comments I would suggest taking another stab at monster hunter, it usually hooks people on the second try at a good 80% rate.

@@Exel3nce the combat was bare bones, but it worked for the length of the game as there weren'ttoo many combat encounters, but the visuals (and as mentioned sound) were great. That being said, the puzzles were meh. That means there's room for improvement in Saga, but for a first attempt it wasn't bad

Look bricky, i get it. i didnt care for monster hunter either, i thought it "wasn't my thing" like many of my friends did on their first try. and then we tried a second time and then its an addiction where you put 1k+ hours on multiple different games from the series lol.
so honestly, i would recommend you give it a try maybe on another game of the series, theres so many of em after all. specially since you like from's games, it gets some time to get used to mh combat since you dont have a lock on, but its sooo goood......

Almost every monster hunter game has lock-on? It's not super aggressive but it is there
@@bluedog4248 well, i meant hard lock on, like in dark souls, where its mostly required to play it. meanwhile mh has that thing that you can just completely ignore and do really well.. (unless you are on the older games)
@@Joker-hv6du yeah but have you actually seen anyone actually using that thing constantly to play? its a relic from the past when we didnt had buttons for camera control only.... i wouldnt be surprised if it just doesnt exist in on wilds.
@@Joker-hv6du like i get what you are saying, but saying "but they have lock on" when the thing that frustrates new players coming from souls like is the fact that the lock on doesnt work anything like what one would expect of a lock on. you will have to learn to to depend on that to be a good hunter or just use bow i guess

@@eleonarcrimson858 Characters from the Titanfall universe running around with Anime swords and wild hairstyles is so far detached from how this franchise started that it has become unrecognizable.
For us Titanfall fans it just adds insult to injury. The Battle of Demeter, dirty, boots-in-the-ground frontline action ks what made this franchise as big as it is. I don't see it anymore.

It is the first game since Rise in 2021 which was the first since World (one of the best games of all time) in 2018. And this looks to be a spiritual successor to both, which were the two best in the series.
