Man I just wanted to say out of all the guys on the internet. You are BY FAR thee best channel out there and the best teacher I've ever understood. Please keep up doing what you do ! And last but not least, THANK YOU !!!!!
The instruments for Hey Hey What Can I Do were recorded at a faster speed and then Page slowed the tracks down and they recorded the vocals. The biggest give away is the ultra smooth sound of Bonhams crash at the end of the intro/verses and how it seems to just last forever. Page was always experimenting with new ways to mic and record and produce. The man truly is a genius
Thanks so much!! I'm taking on new songs that I never thought I'd ever be able to play. You're gifted at teaching, and I again I say hey, hey, thank you today!!
Felt like learning some acoustic Led Zeppelin and was going through your playlist. Was surprised to see it wasn't there. You've seriously got some great timing. Thank you for everything you do.
Actually was just about an hour ago telling my cousin I need to learn this one and then I get on YT and here is CB with the lesson. Thanks for this one! Great, as usual!
Thanks for another awesome tutorial. I really like how you start your tutorials just playing through all the main parts and then you move on into breaking things down ❤
Another great Zeppelin song! Thanks Carl! The D-Dsus2 motif makes the song. Like the speed burst strumming at the end too. Join Carl's Academy and study everything about guitar technique and theory you want to know!
YESSS I love to see zeppelin lessons please do more we all love zep. Please do gallows pole, for your life, celebration day or out on the tile so many great zeppelin songs that you can still do we’ll all be please
Good afternoon Carl l i was wondering if you could do Triumph , Lay it on the line complete intro ,chorus ,solo . Rik Emmett is one of my all time favorite guitar players i know only you and you only could pull it off , Thanks Carl.
Hey there! You're my favorite guitar teacher on the internet. I learned how to play "Highway Star" from you. I wish that I had tons of money, because I'd sure subscribe to your channel and contribute more to you financially. Until then, all you're getting is this uneatable gratitude-sandwich from me.
Great tune to have in my back pocket. Thank you! That last progression in the verse is awesome major minor play out of the 4 string bar chord. That guy is such a freak!
Carl I love the Zeppelin but I need a lot more Pantera!!!! I just got done learning a lot of your Metallica and the Pantera songs you do have but no one really has lessons on Pantera and you’re the only teacher on RUclips I trust to get songs right. Can you please do songs like Primal Concrete Sledge, No Good (Attack The Radical), and other deep cuts. Thank you!
Agree, Eb standard, but I'm pretty sure it was also slightly slowed down in post production, Plant's voice is a bit draggy and pulling up the speed slightly sounds far more natural. Interesting approach on the turn-around going into the chorus! Like that!

Heya Carl. I've finally accepted that a "Liberty" song lesson will never be. So how about "Antisocial" by Anthrax? You did "Madhouse" about a year ago and I'm still jamming that one. "Antisocial" would be amazing. Crossing all of my fingers and toes.
It's one of those songs that's easier to play along with on a record player. Rather than retune your guitar just turn the speed knob on the turn table until it matches your normal tuned guitar.
Awesome, I've recently acquired a left handed acoustic ( I play right electric!) and this will be good to practice. Also, does anyone know if someone has done cover of Nigel Stanford's Crystal Skies ? I can't find anything anywhere.. Maybe Carl, if you fancy a more melodic chilled piece to learn and teach us ;) .
Hey also Carl, I have a treat today for you instead my friend. Listen to the band from poland called Disperse. Jakub Zytecki is my favorite guitarist out there in the band. You will thank me later for the turn on I promise you. I'm not just a regular Jughead throwing bands to you. You will be happy you read this message I promise you. :) Enjoy !!
I can't find the tutorial of one of Steve Vai's song, "Whispering a prayer" anywhere on the internet. Could you please do a tutorial of this song. It's the most emotional and spiritual track of Vai's.
Man I just wanted to say out of all the guys on the internet. You are BY FAR thee best channel out there and the best teacher I've ever understood. Please keep up doing what you do ! And last but not least, THANK YOU !!!!!
I second that!
And suddenly I'm back in 9th grade.... Carl's got something for everybody. Same goes for the Academy!
Only guitar teacher on YT that makes musicality understandable to every level player 😎🤘

@@whiteyfisk9769 Interesting, definitely agree on the cymbal crash being slowed down. Vocals also sound slowed down to me, but who can be sure.
This is gonna be fun to try!

It's one of those songs that's easier to play along with on a record player. Rather than retune your guitar just turn the speed knob on the turn table until it matches your normal tuned guitar.
