So I noticed it stayed opened halfway.. not fully. You think I should rinse and repeat?

Do you have a filter upgrade?

I put in a K&N air filter

Will that cause the check engine light to come on ?

It will not come on

The check engine is coming after the cycle is done. If it’s active valve, the computer will complain about it when it will realize it lost control of it.

I did this to mine about 7 months ago, never an issue. If you enjoy comfort mode, it will be notably more drone during highway driving, fyi.
