Game is peak fun with a full squad. Solo-queueing is a hit or miss. The way it plays requires almost too much teamwork.
I’ve honestly had pretty good luck with randoms I feel like I do worse with my friends sometimes lol

Solo-queuing has been pretty good for me. I just focus on playing around my teammates and it goes pretty good. If you rely on them to play off of you then you'll have a bad time lol

This game is great when you get humans and not bots. I have games where people afk the second they die and res means nothing, or they're afk for respawn
I think lots of players creates second accounts and they use 3rd party apps to level up while afk. I got few of these "bots". Its really annoying to have such players. specially this game need good coordination and communication.

My squad and I ran double Light and 1 Heavy and made it to the top of ranked tourney 1 time, just to get shitted on by a squad of 2 heavies (using grenade launcher) and 1 medium supporting them.

I tried playing Apex for a little bit after binging The Finals (I got a tournament suspension for 30 min because of braindead teammates so I left), and I just couldn't do it. Played 1 match and I was out.

In ranked a good player can be a bad one. Every light in solo queue with grapple will ruin your games, zip up, kill 1 or 2 then die in a place where they can’t be revived. Then they will ping u and the other team mate for not being with him.
Only thing it takes to win ranked tournaments is group play.
only people who can make light viable in ranked are the truly cracked mfs. anything else, they'd be dead like 95% of the time and the other 5% is just running around and looking for kills but not getting any.

It’s the new “popular game” other people are playing. I’d say once the hype dies down, we’ll see how many stick to the game vs coming back to apex.

It's fun. I am excited to have better teammates as I rank up. Apex teammates could rank up by ratting so they could be trash at any rank. Not possible in this. You almost need to be good to rank up

Id definitely just prefer this game to be more in line with other multiplayer shooter games. I just don’t see the fun in having to make a Squad or else your forced to pair with randoms, the game mode is also just really boring, it feels like that one Warzone mode where you have to collect the most cash to win. Idk im glad people like it but I wish it was just more like Halo or Cod in the game modes aspect, in terms of movement and gameplay they nailed it out of the park with this one
Then play those. There are a bunch of different shooters to choose from. Why would you want another game that is more similar to other games? I'd rather have a brand new type of shooter than something I've played before. It's a pretty unique game. Released for free. Released relatively bug free. This is basically as good as it gets for a new game release.

Playing any sort of team game will have people complaining about the randoms. CS, Valorant, Halo, CoD, Apex, LoL... I am being quite literal when I say every team game people have this complaint lol
This isn't a Battle Royal. There isn't going to be a solos mode. TDM is a possibility, but shouldn't be a priority this early on. It should just be about expanding what they have built. More maps, more objective based modes. More guns/gadgets for outplay potential to counter certain tactics.

You still have 2 perks that would help a lot like the turret and optic thermals, nothing they have couldn’t be used for single player except for the healing beam. I’ve been playing the game and having a great time but I just don’t see there being to much longevity to it if I always have to squad up with 2 other people to have fun, like I wanna play right now but playing with randoms is just an instant L

The game has one of the highest skill ceilings I've ever seen, are you sure there's that many hackers? They genuinely might just be good at the game
@snottyboy9983 there is alot of hackers, the devs have said it themselves and they said it will be an ongoing problem for the entire lifespan of the game. Alot of people have put clips in the discord of people hacking. This is expected though since its a free to play, its the reason you have to play like 60 games to unlock ranked, its to help stop the amount of hackers in ranked

I know it's purely anecdotal, but I find it interesting that so many people are talking about hackers when I've only come across one or two people who I thought could be hacking in 10 hours of gameplay. How many kills are these people getting per game for one to presume they're hacking? I'm pretty bad and get usually get anywhere from 5-15 kills as a medium in cashout, and the people I thought where hacking usually got around 30-40, but even then I wasn't really sure if they were just better at the game or not. Is there a method to spot them?

@@snottyboy9983there are more hackers in competitive tho. It's pretty ez to spot them, cause they will be killing you from REALLY far away. I guess it depends but i found a hacker on my 1st ranked game, he had 35 kills, killing everyone across the map

Love this game, iv been solo q a lot but iv been using rapid fire macro with pistol and aim assist on mouse using REWASD on pc. Makes life much easier in ranked and is perfectly legit

Nah this ranked is so trash. I don’t get a single decent teammate. I can go 13-1 and still lose a match. Half my matches I don’t even get a third teammate and even if I manage to make it past the couple rounds I’m still at a huge disadvantage and lose. Not to mention the ranked system. I will get two bronze teammates carry them to the final round just to go up against a 3 stack of diamonds who have fat egos. Takes the fun completely out of the game. I really enjoyed the game when I first picked it up as I played quick play. But after experiencing ranked and solo queuing to plat I’m completely drained from the game. Very slow progression, no incentive to even get kills considering no extra fame points. This game is absolutely dying to me.
Game is actually really fun. Bit surprised there's basically only one Game-Mode so to say.

They are playing the game because they enjoy it. Not to mention people have been playing it since late 2022 when the first alpha was launched and they still haven't gotten bored. Instead of hating how about you make some friends and go enjoy the game yourself.
This game is the most unique and innovative shooter shooter had in a while. I think it has potential, way more polished and concise gameplay than hyperscape
