Really love how the collab turns out! I like how Season 2 became interactive with the fans and the artists' backgrounds. Although, I still like Season 1's concept more cuz they really made the artists use their creativity to make music that is out of their comfort zone. I also like Buddy and Ray being the hosts of the show cuz they really show how passionate they are to collab with the artists. They also help the artists with the production of the songs just like how they help with Gracenote's cover of Abra's song. Even so, Season 2 made a great start. Kudos to Shanti and IVOS! Looking forward to hear more of artists' collabs.

Last season, 3 songs were produced every episode: 1 - first artist doing his/her twist of the second artist's popular song 2 - second artist doing his/her twist of the first artist's popular song 3 - both artists collaborate for a new original song merging both styles This season, they had renewed the format from last season and just made two collaborative songs together: 1 - merging the popular original songs of the two artists (like a mash-up) 2 - original collaborative song (from scratch) I think they reduced the production from 3 to 2 songs to show both artists' background/origins. 🤔 I hope my explanation is understandable somehow 😉😁

After watching this ep, i still prefer Season 1. -Aside from the artist lineup, Buddy & Rayms (as a producer) were more interactive with the bands/artists -Season 1 showed more of the songwriting process (Mentor-Student approach) of the bands while Season 2 focused more on the bonding between artists.

Half hearted ako sa episode hahahaha i like both songs the mash up and the original i also like how they showed the history of the performers however the song writing process and raymond and buddy's interaction with last season was so sick dahil kumbaga pioneers sila sa music industry sa pinas yes artists before them are damn good as well but eheads baby!
George Servino I think they just want to innovate this season. Tapos na yung ganong tema last year e. So ganito naman. Marami din kasing interested sa mga ganitong format. Collab and mashup ng two different artists.

Hear hear! I agree. Mas simple, mas raw, mas malinis, and mas pinakita ang tunay na galing sa paggawa ng music ng artists last season. Magaling magdala sina raymond and buddy. Magaganda ang remarks ng hosts. Pang music talaga. Less or no voice over din last season. Talagang focused lang sa artists and mentors mismo- what they have and want to say. If may script man before, it seems like natural. Pero this season, maganda pa rin ang outcome ng songs.
there are times na sinasabi ng Sab magalona sa background na nag kakamabutihan na sila nila shanti pero parang di naman pinakita yung moment puro high 5's lang saka smile pero walang moment na nag uusap sila saka nag pplan talaga sila as one parang pinilit bigyan yung audience ng idea kahit di naman kita
