Inauguration and broke ground for "Bataraza: The Smart City" | Palawan News

Malaysian firm JJC Group Development Asia Sdn Bhd and the local government of Bataraza inaugurated and broke ground for "Bataraza: The Smart City" on Thursday, July 18, at Barangay Inogbong.
In his message, town Mayor Abraham Ibba highlighted the project's aim to modernize the municipality, aligning with its vision for a sustainable and progressive future.
JJC Group CEO and President Jismit Bin Japong provided an overview of the project, emphasizing the technological advancements and infrastructure developments planned for Bataraza.
The project plans to develop 2,000 hectares of land with key components like an airport to be named Abraham Ibba Airport, a seaport, an integrated transportation system, water treatment facilities, and power facilities.
The project also includes tourism facilities, five 5-star hotels, a theme park, a convention center, a Formula 1 race track, commercial and residential spaces, and an iconic Bataraza tower landmark.
