By doing this you have all the movement on the opposite arm which can be preferable by certain types of loading and unloading. e.g. that you always pick up a bale from the stack with the bale beside always on the same side or when working close to a wall.
Didn't tell you much at all! What was the bracket for that he was fitting on the grab?
HI, the bracket is to hold one side in position while the other arme is opening and closeing. without the bracket both arms are moving/ swinging.
