For the handheld swords they fit in trailer mode if you use the new panel near the back with the two holes. The swords will point down but will not touch the ground
I got the V1 of the TW-1022 back when it first came out and just recently got my hands on an EX version. And might I say, the difference in quality between the two is night and day. The V1 felt like the plastic was really brittle and ready to break (and it did), while the EX is on par with my official SS44 and even better in some areas (like the front grille). So if anyone's watching this video coming off of Chefatron or MechaZee's reviews of the V1, then don't worry, those issues have been ironed out. My only complaints are that the official SS44 Jetwing doesn't seem to want to fit on the KO, and the weapon storage on the truck bed doesn't work anymore due to the feet being made out of die-cast (holes are now too big for the tabs on the weapons).
Is the tab for the grille better? I've had like 3 copies of the original 44 and 2 of them have had the tabs broken, so im hoping for a better experience with the ko.
@@icommentalot8099 Yes! My god, it’s so much better. Smooth as butter, holds together well, and comes apart easily too! Just push the grille in a little and it comes undone. I remember having to fight my SS44’s grille apart before I decided to sand down the bottom peg a bit (something that worked a bit *too* well). I don’t know what Baiwei did, but that grille is a major improvement.
@@collegetfreviewer That's strange. You sure you ain't missing something? I looked into other reviews and seen them be able to articulate them downwards.
@@collegetfreviewer Looked up other reviews, they SHOULD be ablt to move down. I think they're just a bit hidden with where they move. Which is a HUGE plus for me cause DOTM Jetpack Prime is my FAVORITE design in Bayverse.
Can you store all the weapons in the trailer? That's really the deal breaker for me. I don't want a bunch of accessories laying loosely around the house
The guns and shield store, as do the arm blades. The extra face plate (whichever you do not put on the figure) would have to be stored loose, as would the two hand held blades I believe, though there may be a way to tab them in
Did you had any issues with paint chipping? I have the nemesis version and a lot of the silver in some parts came out already, I've heard their first Megatron was kinda bad with that too
Pretty good, BaiWei fixed the tolerance issues of the original SS-32 mold. Doesn't feel like anything is going to snap, easy to handle, no less durable than official SS-32
The one thing that bothers me is how they did the transformation and putting some parts of the vehicle in the wrong places. Hope they look back at the original rotf voyager hunt for decepticons version and the movie masterpiece and make another one and make a completely better studio series prime figure. That’s just my opinion I’m not sure if hasbro would ever listen so
About the same as hasbro, not quite as solid but also not brittle; don't feel like I am going to break anything nor are there any stress marks. Also has diecast (which hasbro does not)
Solid, a little thin in areas but does not feel delicate. More pin joints than on the official which is a plus, and the transformation tolerances are much improved. Close call between this release and the official SS-32.
I sent this to my mom for Christmas I’ve always wanted SS prime and when I saw the baiwei I was shocked how good it is I will make an update if I get if I don’t you know why

Is the EX version the one in the video?
@@OGrupxe The EX is the metallic version, so yeah.

Looks amazing just order mine 😁
Got a question. Does the Jetpack's wings move down like they do in the film? Like is the trailer a KO of the DNA Design kit?
The wings cannot move down unfortunately, but they do articulate in and out at several points
@@collegetfreviewer That's strange. You sure you ain't missing something? I looked into other reviews and seen them be able to articulate them downwards.
@@kennythetrend3688 Fairly confident the wings do not articulate downwards, however I do not have the trailer with me right now to check.

@@collegetfreviewer Also, Baiwei is doing a JETFIRE which I presume has the DNA Upgrade Kit as well. I am SO HYPED.

All accessories can be stored when the trailer is transformed
Ziploc has an amazing upgrade kit for weapons storage 😎

No issues on my copy thus far, though I honestly have not transformed the figure that many times. Trailer has held up remarkably well though.
It looks shiny
How the plastic quality is? I have the ss42 baiwei without the trailer and plastic so fragile feel like easy to break

Is the plastic quality better than the v3 and studio series ?
Yep
When did this come out? Never seen it before

Are you able to tighten the hip joints from screws or are there caps?
Should be able to tighten the screws
Where did you get the trailer?

Might be sold out now, but will probably be rereleased.

I GOT IT JUST AN HOUR AGO
CollegeTFreviewer are you G.I. Joe fan?
Yes, however I do not collect the current line of 6" figures. I prefer the 3.75" action figure size
It’s a shame how ugly the backpack is because the figure overall is pretty solid but that error is a massive turnoff
