This year's Festa is really hitting me differently and this song made me cry right when I was getting ready for work this morning. I cried on the first listen and I still cry now - I think this is always going to be one of those songs. The attention to detail is amazing from the outfits and haircolor to the subtle nods toward their previous selves. For once I'm glad the boys aren't in the actual MV because I don't think I'd be able to stop crying long enough to watch it more than once. We don't deserve these 7 amazing young men who continue to give their love to ARMY without hesitation. It's beautiful to see and I'm glad to be part of this extended family.
I agree, this FESTA is extra extra special, like LITERALLY. Not just special about the albums/events but everything that’s going on during this time is “special” too. I’m sad that we can’t go all out to celebrate this special year as big as it’s supposed to be. It sucks but I sometimes try to comfort myself that it’s alright and hardships make this year extra special. When I saw this, I swore Cait would be the first one to cry, but Josh teared up first. GO JOSH! This song/video never fails to bring tears to my eyes, happy tears! "Cast stones at us, We have NO FEAR anymore, We are, we are TOGETHER Bulletproof." THE WHOLE VID/SONG shows their gratitude/love/devotion to Army. It breaks my heart to remember all they went through! I'm SO GRATEFUL to the early Armys, who gave their never-ending love and support to the guys, to lift them up so later Army's like you and me could be touched and saved by their gifts.
I cry EVERY time with this song, and this video just... completely did me in. The speech you're thinking of where Hobi broke down and Jin told us they almost broke up was MAMA 2018. There are SO many tiny details. If you notice, when Joon is drowning, it's just one little purple light that he follows to the surface, and the colors change more and more from winter to spring, and the end is not only Boy With Luv, but the end of the long winter of their trials, the beginning of a new spring. This makes me sadder there's no tour this year. But I'll wait forever, I don't care if I'm an old lady and somebody has to wheel me there in a wheelchair!

I always cry when I'm watching WAB The Eternal or even when I'm just listening to it. What I love love love is how you guys recognize all the eras! And even point out the key icons of that era. In suga's verse , he was his in I Need You Era animation and he was holding onto his shoulder. Remember that time when he broke his shoulders and he didnt tell anyone cuz he was afraid that he'll get kicked out of bts? and that was the period that people was also accusing them of sajaegi when their sales got higher. All the glass shards that is flying beside him. Gosh this was such an emotional time in our fandom. When namjoon feel in the water too, it was likely referenced to Run's starting scene and remember all those people mocking and critisizing BTS for having such an odd name and how they laugh at everything they do? Namjoon was only 19 when BTS debuted and he had the biggest responsibility of holding them together and they all had to block all the hate since they were teenagers and all. And the scene that cait was saying , that was the Wings era ending ment (where everyone started crying cuz of the sheer amount of antis trying to bring them down ; remember the hashtag that says plagirism boys that trended during their wings concert?) but they also put the 2018 MAMA award in the hand (presumably) cuz that was one of their toughest year in their careers. BTS: *releases MV for We Are Bulletproof Eternal* Me: *ugly crying while rewatching the MV* This song already makes me cry and with the added MV, im just a total wreck. The bit that made me cry was when they included the 2018 MAMA award in the mv, this made me cry as it reminded me that Jin spoke about the group speaking about disbanding (but im glad they didnt) and it also has Hobi crying which really pilled at my heart string as i cant see any of them upset without myself getting upset. Also the purple orbs you see flying represents Armys especially at the end as you see the BTS logo change into Amrys logo and BTs walk throught it and the last era you see them in is Boy With Luv as they havent experienced ON era with us yet. Also the whale yous see them riding (its been in a few of their MVs) by it self it represents BTS but then you see them riding it which could represent us Armys taking them to places and height they never thought would be possible to get to by themselves. All in all ive learnt from the past 7 years of me being a Army that BTS always mention their love for us Armys somehow in all of their MVs and songs
Josh, I felt exactly the same. I remember I cried so much when I watched HEARTBEAT music video. However, for this one, I surprisingly didn’t cry although I thought I would because it’s the most emotional song. I feel nostalgic and emotional, but I think the animation makes me happier. I just saw on twitter that the black wave threatening to overpower BTS at 1:29 of the video represents the 'black ocean' when they used to perform and the other fandoms would turn off their lightsticks and refuse to cheer for them. Here are the references/details in the video (well, most of them) 💜 - the intro with the blue Bighit logo (their old one was orange with blue background) - it then turns into the wall of their old dance practice studio and Joon wearing his Boy With Luv outfit confronting his debut days self in a "Reflection" (that's a solo by Namjoon) - Jungkook walking down the street of the "No More Dream" MV in their debut stage outfit - him turning into Tae walking into the "We Are Bulletproof pt 2" MV and the glasses being punched off is actually his part in the "No More Dream" choreo - it then turns into Jin who walks into the "N.O" MV - it then turns into Tae again walking down an empty hallway in the "Boy In Luv" MV - which then turns into the set of Danger with Jimin walking in his "We Are Bulletproof pt " outfit - the thorny monster arms, shattering glass, everything falling to pieces and the "black ocean" that swallowed Tae (fandoms joined forces to not have their lightsticks on during an award show to show their disliking of BTS to create the "black ocean") are all the hate, antis, defamation and other things they have faced - Namjoon falling into a big dark ocean hit me especially hard, cuz he was very low and going through a rough patch for a while during the time. He still suffers pain in his shoulders. - the small number of purple lights who help Joon resurface of course cos of the veteran Army who stood by them when they had no one else (most peers/idols looked down on them, so did their fans and especially the industry and companies) - them standing up and the cherry blossoms signifying the Most Beautiful Moment era (that really meant a lot to us and them) really hit me, especially when it turned into Joon walking towards "us" in the Young Forever MV set with the other 6 😭 - they then all run through the I Need U, Run, Blood Sweat and Tears and Not Today MVs in their Run/Fire era hairstyles but debut outfits signifying that they stayed the same humble guys - they run towards the Spring Day MV tree and sit in a bonfire circle from the I Need U MV but they're wearing their Wings Tour Final concert outfits - the whale is a reference to their song "Whalien 52" which is a whale no one can hear in the ocean so he is alone, but he carries the boys into heaven aka the stage/newer heights and Army (the purple glowy things) is their galaxy. Another point to note is that they took a rest in the Spring Day MV cuz they thought this era was their limit only to be picked up by the whale/us and brought to even higher highs and the biggest stage. - the Army galaxy turns into the shape of a concert hall/stadium that resembles Wembley and the way they're standing away from each other on stage suggests it's the "Born Singer" performance - they then stand together on stage, Hobi holding a MAMA award and all of them crying: it's a combination of their ending speech from the Wings Final concert that was very very heartfelt AND the 2018 MAMA speech when Hobi cried and they confessed they almost disbanded - the stage extending to the Army logo which then turns into the Bangtan logo meaning we're one and they gave us and we have them ("we are not 7 with you") - it ending with cherry blossom petals and Boy With Luv outfits meaning they're happy now and some people said it stopped there cuz they didn't have the chance to be with us during the Map of the Soul 7 era yet and cuz BWL was a very happy time for them (many awards won, lots of achievements, the guys being a lot more happy and content with themselves) Thank you SOO much for reacting! 💜

When I saw this, I swore Cait would be the first one to cry, but Josh teared up first. GO JOSH! This song/video never fails to bring tears to my eyes, happy tears! "Cast stones at us, We have NO FEAR anymore, We are, we are TOGETHER Bulletproof." THE WHOLE VID/SONG shows their gratitude/love/devotion to Army. It breaks my heart to remember all they went through! I'm SO GRATEFUL to the early Armys, who gave their never-ending love and support to the guys, to lift them up so later Army's like you and me could be touched and saved by their gifts.
I cry EVERY time with this song, and this video just... completely did me in.
The speech you're thinking of where Hobi broke down and Jin told us they almost broke up was MAMA 2018.
There are SO many tiny details. If you notice, when Joon is drowning, it's just one little purple light that he follows to the surface, and the colors change more and more from winter to spring, and the end is not only Boy With Luv, but the end of the long winter of their trials, the beginning of a new spring.
This makes me sadder there's no tour this year. But I'll wait forever, I don't care if I'm an old lady and somebody has to wheel me there in a wheelchair!

I'm an Old Army since I saw them the first time on stage they totally took over me and I'm so proud of everything they've achieved and what better time than we're going through in the world to cheer us up with such beautiful letters. 😭💜🥰

In suga's verse , he was his in I Need You Era animation and he was holding onto his shoulder. Remember that time when he broke his shoulders and he didnt tell anyone cuz he was afraid that he'll get kicked out of bts? and that was the period that people was also accusing them of sajaegi when their sales got higher. All the glass shards that is flying beside him. Gosh this was such an emotional time in our fandom. When namjoon feel in the water too, it was likely referenced to Run's starting scene and remember all those people mocking and critisizing BTS for having such an odd name and how they laugh at everything they do? Namjoon was only 19 when BTS debuted and he had the biggest responsibility of holding them together and they all had to block all the hate since they were teenagers and all. And the scene that cait was saying , that was the Wings era ending ment (where everyone started crying cuz of the sheer amount of antis trying to bring them down ; remember the hashtag that says plagirism boys that trended during their wings concert?) but they also put the 2018 MAMA award in the hand (presumably) cuz that was one of their toughest year in their careers. I hope Josh is okay and thank you guys for reacting to this.

This song already makes me cry and with the added MV, im just a total wreck.
The bit that made me cry was when they included the 2018 MAMA award in the mv, this made me cry as it reminded me that Jin spoke about the group speaking about disbanding (but im glad they didnt) and it also has Hobi crying which really pilled at my heart string as i cant see any of them upset without myself getting upset.
Also the purple orbs you see flying represents Armys especially at the end as you see the BTS logo change into Amrys logo and BTs walk throught it and the last era you see them in is Boy With Luv as they havent experienced ON era with us yet.
Also the whale yous see them riding (its been in a few of their MVs) by it self it represents BTS but then you see them riding it which could represent us Armys taking them to places and height they never thought would be possible to get to by themselves.
All in all ive learnt from the past 7 years of me being a Army that BTS always mention their love for us Armys somehow in all of their MVs and songs

Josh, I felt exactly the same. I remember I cried so much when I watched HEARTBEAT music video. However, for this one, I surprisingly didn’t cry although I thought I would because it’s the most emotional song. I feel nostalgic and emotional, but I think the animation makes me happier. Hence, I just smiled throughout the whole MV. I’m glad that they went with animation. This shows that our journey with BTS is a happy journey 😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

The black wave in Jungkook's part looks like they are referencing the Black ocean in 2016 where other fandoms don't light up their lightsticks when BTS were performing. But look at them now, the beautiful PURPLE ocean they received from their one and only ARMY. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I just saw on twitter that the black wave threatening to overpower BTS at 1:29 of the video represents the 'black ocean' when they used to perform and the other fandoms would turn off their lightsticks and refuse to cheer for them. But it's ok, now they've got stadiums of purple oceans and a mikrokosmos of Army lights. Also, Armys cheer for other groups, which once caused Jin to say that he was very proud of the fandom. :)))

During the No more dream part, you can see the papers floating by jk. And Tae and him having "For Sale" on them. That's because Jk was wanted by other companies, bigger ones, but he stayed with BTS. Tae wasn't planning on joining bighit either. But fate brought him there. The writing behind Jk, "Solo". It refers to that prank they did on RM. He was asked if he wanted to go solo or Bangtan boys. No hesitation at all, BTS.

I cried watching their journey
Here are the references/details in the video (well, most of them) 💜
- the intro with the blue Bighit logo (their old one was orange with blue background)
- it then turns into the wall of their old dance practice studio and Joon wearing his Boy With Luv outfit confronting his debut days self in a "Reflection" (that's a solo by Namjoon)
- Jungkook walking down the street of the "No More Dream" MV in their debut stage outfit
- him turning into Tae walking into the "We Are Bulletproof pt 2" MV and the glasses being punched off is actually his part in the "No More Dream" choreo
- it then turns into Jin who walks into the "N.O" MV
- it then turns into Tae again walking down an empty hallway in the "Boy In Luv" MV
- which then turns into the set of Danger with Jimin walking in his "We Are Bulletproof pt " outfit
- the thorny monster arms, shattering glass, everything falling to pieces and the "black ocean" that swallowed Tae (fandoms joined forces to not have their lightsticks on during an award show to show their disliking of BTS to create the "black ocean") are all the hate, antis, defamation and other things they have faced
- Namjoon falling into a big dark ocean hit me especially hard, cuz he was very low and going through a rough patch for a while during the time. It shows a lot in his fashion back then (all black), his studio set up (all black), his earnest demeanor and his first mixtape
- the shattered shards chasing Yoongi in his I Need U outfit also hits hard, cuz around that era, when they first won on a music show the hate got really bad (when they were accused of copying other groups and bulk buying albums, etc. cuz they won first place) If you notice really carefully, his animated character is holding his arm (supporting shoulder) here and that's cos during his trainee days he had injured his shoulder due to motorcycle accident and had to hid it for years since he thought he would get kicked out of the company. He ate the pain while doing all those extreme choreographies without letting anyone know. He still suffers pain in his shoulders.
- the small number of purple lights who help Joon resurface of course cos of the veteran Army who stood by them when they had no one else (most peers/idols looked down on them, so did their fans and especially the industry and companies)
- them standing up and the cherry blossoms signifying the Most Beautiful Moment era (that really meant a lot to us and them) really hit me, especially when it turned into Joon walking towards "us" in the Young Forever MV set with the other 6 😭
- they then all run through the I Need U, Run, Blood Sweat and Tears and Not Today MVs in their Run/Fire era hairstyles but debut outfits signifying that they stayed the same humble guys
- they run towards the Spring Day MV tree and sit in a bonfire circle from the I Need U MV but they're wearing their Wings Tour Final concert outfits
- the whale is a reference to their song "Whalien 52" which is a whale no one can hear in the ocean so he is alone, but he carries the boys into heaven aka the stage/newer heights and Army (the purple glowy things) is their galaxy. Another point to note is that they took a rest in the Spring Day MV cuz they thought this era was their limit only to be picked up by the whale/us and brought to even higher highs and the biggest stage.
- the Army galaxy turns into the shape of a concert hall/stadium that resembles Wembley and the way they're standing away from each other on stage suggests it's the "Born Singer" performance
- they then stand together on stage, Hobi holding a MAMA award and all of them crying: it's a combination of their ending speech from the Wings Final concert that was very very heartfelt AND the 2018 MAMA speech when Hobi cried and they confessed they almost disbanded
- the stage extending to the Army logo which then turns into the Bangtan logo meaning we're one and they gave us and we have them ("we are not 7 with you")
- it ending with cherry blossom petals and Boy With Luv outfits meaning they're happy now and some people said it stopped there cuz they didn't have the chance to be with us during the Map of the Soul 7 era yet and cuz BWL was a very happy time for them (many awards won, lots of achievements, the guys being a lot more happy and content with themselves)
